There were a couple of incredible segments tucked into the fluff.
Is Sabah the woman from Baghdad? Talking about women in Iraq losing their freedom and living in fear - The sounds of gunfire, afraid to leave their homes - The over-the-counter availability of valium and how so many are taking it just to get through - The lack of electricity - what was it? 2 hrs on, 4 hrs. off? (One woman in the audience was shocked, thought everything was just fine now that Iraq was liberated and several others expressed the same thing.)
Powerful stuff - very brave and strong woman.
painful to watch - and to those women in Oprah's audience, welcome to reality - stuff you won't ever hear on FOX news.
Did I hear Oprah say how difficult it was to get that footage and give thanks to CNN for it?
