Btw- Did you know that Stephen Baldwin is insane?
I saw him on "extra" this evening, and heard him say that he backs *, because he knows that he(*) is truly being led by god...

so i had to look him up on the web-
turns out he's a "born-again"...in other words, he needed a place to earn a steady paycheck. Here's a quote from the littlest Baldwin:

http://www.newyorkmetro.com/nymetro/news/rnc/9716/

"God made me cool so that the youth culture would look up to me, and now he’s using me to speak to them."

on the lil'dictator:

"I believe that one of the candidates, from a spiritual perspective, should be leading the country for the next four years. Friends say to me, “Do your homework, and you’ll see what Bush is doing with the environment and the war. He’s lining the pockets of Cheney’s friends.” I tell them, “I have done my homework, and I don’t agree. I pray for an hour and read the word of God for at least 30 minutes every day. And that experience has told me that I need to support the guy being led by God.”..."

alrighty, then...

4. yeah he's nuts
But he is hilarious as the new host of Scare Tactics on Sci-Fi.

I thought I would have to stop watching the show because he was hosting but I found out that he's pretty much just like Shannen Dougherty only retarded instead of bitchy.

28. So something is apparently UP with the producers of this show.
They have got to be repukes, hiring Baldwin after Doherty is no accident.

No one else would hire Doherty.

Does anyone know if ex-MTV veejay Kennedy still claims to be a Republican? I listen to her on 94.1 in NC everyday, it's like a blast from the past, but I wonder if her politics have shifted..

30. me too.
I don't know, but I would say he's newly sober (within the last couple of years) and has found xtianity through the twelve steps or something.

Stick around. He'll probably start having major questions in a few years or pick up again.

That seems to be the way it works.

25. I don't think he's sex starved.
He's been married for 14 years and he has two kids. I highly doubt getting laid is a big problem for him.

Instead, I think he has a disease known as WillieAamesitis. Its a disease that strikes Hollywood actors when they're near the pinnacle of their career. Here's how it works:

#1. Starts by brainwashing the brain, literally religiously
#2. Makes the affected host to force his beliefs on others
#3. Due to alienation from others, the Hollywood career is basically over
#4. Rather than living a quiet life with his own far-out beliefs, the affected host spends the rest of his acting career making tv shows and films that tell non-believers they'll die and go to hell if they don't believe in the same thing he believes in.

I'm more than positive that Willie Aames and Kirk Cameron (and now Stephen Baldwin) will vote for Bush. I don't know if for a fact of course, but when you're brainwashed and you can't think for yourself, you probably don't care about the real issues like Iraq, the economy, or that a megalomaniac is in power. The only important thing to brainwashed citizens is that the President doesn't like abortion and he wants prayer in school. Those are the important things to brainwashed citizens.

Everyone's entitled to their opinions, I agree. It doesn't mean they should shout it out from the mountaintops though if that opinion is warped and hateful in its sound. How many agnostic or atheist tv channels are out there nationally? Televangelists believe that no credible person wants to think for themselves or hear the opinions of the freethinkers, they just want to be told what to do.

Its one thing to say you're devoted to something, but there's something sinister about it when you force your beliefs on others. Thats one of the reasons the pilgrim dudes got on the Mayflower to come over here - to get away from that.

17. Matthew 6: 1-6
Where Jesus condemns the Pharisees for making a show of giving to charity, and praying loudly for all to see. Jesus instructed his followers to give alms "in secret" and to pray in a closet behind closed doors.

I never understood how evangelicals could promote prayer in school, religious symbols posted in public (10 commandments, etc) prayers at football games over loud speakers (for one HS team to beat up the rival team), NASCAR races, etc. when Jesus instructed his followers to not be religious "show offs"!

Bush wearing his religion on his sleeve surely doesn't even know what Jesus said here in Matthew which are the verses leading up to the Lord's Prayer where Jesus gives an example of a proper prayer.

Of course, Poppy Bush told Matt Lauer that Georgy Boy had read the Holy Bible from cover-to-cover TWICE! Wonder which version?

This Bible?:

31. God, that reminds me of Margaret Cho's surfer brother.
She tells this joke where he comes up to her and says, "Hey Margaret, so like don't you want to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior?"

And she says "No."

And he goes "BITCH."

38. Aren't the 'skateboarders for Jesus'
some organization headed up by the son of Jim Bakker (of Jim and Tammy Faye 'mascara down to her waist' Bakker)? I saw an interview with him on VH-1 or somewhere, and this group essentially pretends to be something it isn't, then once they've drawn these kids in and gotten them socially attached, starts bombarding them with religious stuff? That was the impression I got from the interview, anyway -- once the kids are friends, they find it hard to leave the group, even if they were secular when they joined, because they feel like nobody else understands them... which, oddly enough, sure sounds like how most of the cults I've heard of over the years recruit -- find disaffected teenagers, get them involved socially but don't admit your religious affiliaton, then bam! Once they're dependent, they won't leave and you can marinate them in whatever you want.

He did turn down the lead in "Speed" though, too funny.

on the hereafter: it doesn't matter what you do before you "git rillij'n." If a murderer converts to Jaaaaaayyyyzus on his deathbed (not to be confused with Jesus) he'll enter Hevving the God Without a Face. Ghandi, on the other hand, is roasting.
