A repug just got served! (let me gloat)
On another site people were talking about the debate.

Someone was critical of Bush and said: "Bush always tries to talk before he's allowed to, and he obviously has a bad temper, from what I see on television."

A Freeper type replied: "I'm glad of it. I'd rather have someone jump up and do something when my family is threatened or at risk of danger, than have someone be too afraid of what everyone *might* think about them, to actually take action. I don't want a "leader" who's going to pander to the masses and make bad choices, only to increase his self esteem."

I wrote: Yeah, he really jumped when he found out the WTC was attacked. He spent 7 minutes just sitting in that classroom, and another 20 minutes before he even left the school! Great leadership!

1. I am glad you pointed that out. They seem to have forgotten that.

2. I suggest that the freeper go enlist in the military first thing next
Monday. If you talk to him again (assuming that he's a 'he'), tell him Swamp Rat says he is a little weenie republican coward if he doesn't enlist immerdiately.

3. Why enlist? If * should win he can just wait a while and get drafted.

7. No excuses. No waiting.
If he supports Bush and war in general, then he must enlist NOW or else he's a coward and unpatriotic.

4. The semiotics of bad behavior.
A few weeks ago, some media people were praising B-C because they were lying their asses off, and that was a sign of "audacity."

The Swift Hoaxers weren't a gang of bitter liars, they were a test of Kerry's character.

Bush's incredible behavior yesterday wasn't bizarre, it was Bush telegraphing the fact that he's a man of action.

This ridiculous spinning is generally being debunked, but the fact that people are so eager to try it is a sign (heh) that there is something pathological about our national psyche.
