was watching - maybe news, can't remember, sorry. BUT, during the report, they said that 123 specific nuclear and chemical plants which needed work to secure them, HAD BEEN TURNED DOWN BY BUSH. He vetoed the plan I think. I just tried to find this online and can't. aarrggg. These plants were large enough and near enough population that each of them, if blown up or whatever by terrorists, would be capable of killing ONE MILLION PEOPLE. That's for EACH plant. And Bush said NO to securing them. I hope someone knows more about this as I'm not very good at searching on Google.
However, if you want to see what a 'good steward of the land' * is, Google "Bush + EPA". If we could just get the repukes to do that - maybe they'd learn something.
Sorry I don't have more specific info on the plants. I actually wrote down notes on a newspaper I had in my lap. But even those didn't help me find the info online.
