Two special things happened yesterday
one made sweeter by a member of du.

1) My republican brother told me a joke about * receiving the Walking Eagle Award (and he is also the one who asked me to explain to him what a blooger was) and today I'm going to do both.

2) Our neighbors are good people but not politically in the know. They both work in factories where many of the people are not American born, or high school graduates, but very very good people. My husband went over to see them under the pretense to ask them to come and see our new cabinets but also to invite Kenny to the Edwards rally tomorrow. He came home and the first thing he said was they were so glad he took time to explain things to them about bush and some of his dirty tactis and then I don't know what happened cuz my daughter came in. But he has gotten them curious and asking questions and given them answers which they will take back to their jobs. The last time I talked to the wife, she said that everyone at work referred to Kerry as the "skinny neck" or something like that and I had the feeling they just had no idea what end was up. This might bring in a couple hundred Kerry votes for MN. They had no idea who was the better candidate cuz no one ever explained it to them, and now if one person there can tell one person and another. It might make a difference?

2. Thanks
I don't know if kenny is going to the rally but I'm going to pursue this on Monday or Tuesday and then let it rest. I can't help but feel this might make a difference of considerable number of votes. I'm not getting my hopes up, but it feels good to be doing our part. My daughter's boyfriend registered to vote, and he was very proud of that, and he will vote for Kerry. That is a plus, cuz he wouldn't have voted before.
