I really thought it would break the line and continue to drop. I'm very glad I was wrong. I hope to continue to be wrong.

1. The Dow will not be permitted to drop below 9500
until the election and recounts and all the court cases are over.

After that, all bets are off.

5. Interesting.
I was talking to a guy in California real estate last night. He's 74 and he's been in the business for 52 years. I asked him when CA RE was going to tank, and he said, "After the election."

Why after the election? What difference could it make?

2. Remember a while back when Bush was making a speech on TV

And in a split screen, you could see the Dow dropping like a stone? It became known as the DU "piehole effect"!

3. Hope is on the way (?)
When it looked apparent that Clinton was going to beat Bush, the stock market started rising. They called it the "Billy Bounce".

4. And it began to drop when it looked like Bush II had a chance.
I'm a dummie in this area but it seems to me that many investors get skittish when a borrow and spend "conservative" becomes the CEO of the USA.

6. And Don't Forget
There's a ton of international money in the stock market. Enough to cause swings if foreigners start buying in or pulling out in large numbers. Foreign investors may have a clearer picture of the impact of Bush's financial policies.

7. Don't make me break out the transcript from the freeptard web site
where they were discussing the "fact" that the Dow would drop every time Gore said "Count the votes" and that the stock market soared every time that Bush and the Supreme Court batted Gore away.

Strangely silent after 12/12/2000, when the stock market really started to tank under W.

8. Shit-for-Brains has had four years to show improvement.
And the markets still look horrible. We ned to fire him before he does any more harm. He's like King Midas. Everything he touches turns to shit. Anybody knows you can't send American profits and jobs overseas and expect a positive kick to be reflected in the stock market. Bush is a total ignoramus.
