now that the Sinclair thing has passed
I want to thank the companies that pulled advertising, putting pressure on Sinclair to at least posture as a responsible member of the press. I already know I'll be buying Burger King gift certificates. Who else do I reward with my business? Who goes on the boycott list? Has anyone collected the information on each company's response to our letters?

1. Good question
I'd like a list of those companies so that I could make the effort to patronize them.

I'd also like a list of the companies that ended up advertising during the broadcast in order that I might make a conscious effort to avoid buying their products.

Sinclair doesn't have a TV station here in the DFW area but they need to feel the sting anyway.

3. So I take it
no one has that info?

I think it is important for us to get it. We need to be able to demonstrate that we notice when corporations act responsibly. Perhaps DUers can contribute what they know of individual corporate responses all in one thread, instead of thread by thread, like was being done. Maybe my mind is just getting old, but I couldn't keep up with all that. Any young whippersnappers with a head for making lists?

2. Doesn't this just go to show that
for Sinclair, when it comes down to fighting for your "principles" or the dollar, the dollar always wins!

4. I received a very nice response from Pfizer
Stating that they would not run advertising on the Sinclair program. I don't even remember emailing them! They make a lot of stuff I guess check their website on that.
