I just watched a speech by Kucinich on FSTV.
That man is amazing. So passionate & compassionate.
He was speaking well of Kerry & our future.

1. Don't you love FSTV??? My favorite channel. I was a Kucinich granny
from the beginning; it really pissed me off the way the so-called Librul Media marginalized him and others from the outset, focusing on insubstantial non-issues vs. giving the American public the opportunity to hear all of the candidates (including Greens, Libertarians, etc.)

2. My vote for Kucinich in the primary was my proudest vote in
over 20 years.

4. It wasn't just the "librul media" who marginalized him...... the DEM PARTY
did the most marginalization.

If you were around DU during the primaries, you know that Dennis Kucinich received the most unkind attacks here of any of the candidates.

It was ugly, and has left deep wounds.

It shows the immaturity of not only our country, but also our Party.

:( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

For that reason, there aren't a lot of Kucinich supporters who are here in strength anymore.

6. Most of us were beaten by fellow DUers to the point of exhaustion.
The DLC Vichy Dems were the worst.

This country is just not ready for a Kucinich presidency. Sad, really. He'd be a centrist in Europe, but here he's a "far left fringe wacko".

I think this country's pretty much insane. Even a lot of self-identified progressives don't realize how slanted to the right this country is, how militaristic and imperialistic we are and always have been.

7. Proud Kucinich supporter still here.
I stopped sending money to the DLC/DNC, and send all contributions directly to DK, or Mark Dayton (my senator) with a note for them to use it as they see fit.

I strongly support Kerry/Edwards this election, but my money and sweat will be spent on promoting the Progressive Wing of the Democratic Party. I hope that a progressive organization can grow within the Democratic Party that will counter balance the corporate owned DLC. An alliance between the Congressional Black Caucus and the more Progressive Democrats could become a steering influence on the Democratic Party.
