What ever happened to this reality show that was to air?
I remember Medea Benjamin was going to audition for it.
I was looking forward to it.

1. I think it wound up on Showtime

It's called "The American Candidate".

I really hear little about it. Not much promotion, but it is on occasionally. I have Showtime, but I've never watched the show.

Likely, it didn't really go over.

2. Prior to filming

During the interview phase for contestants, they discovered that even that even the most unqualified, ignorant, least informed potential contestant they interviewed made more sense than the chimp, so they decided to pull it to prevent the public from noticing.
