Letter from Iraq
I'm just back from a potluck dinner where I talked to a woman whose son was near Ramadi (sp?) and had written that they were on extremely short rations--not getting any meals at all some days. She was hurrying home to start assembiing a care package to mail out on Monday.

What the hell is wrong that they can't feed our troops?

1. that's what happens when you outsource your supply lines to
Halliburton instead of having the military in charge

2. This problem could be very easily solved. Simply withdraw
all the military from the place and provide help only to rebuild the infrastructure, employing only Iraqi labor and contractors.

3. wrong? nothing wrong... the war is going Great! :P
If the supply lines cannot be protected (and they're aren't), the iraqis can starve 'em out. old tactic.

and good friccken luck trying to get out while the getting is good... Only one route out, back to Kuwait and there's a lot of highway miles to suffer with thousands if not millions of pissed off Iraqi's waiting on the shoulders. Highway of Death 2.

Brits knew to stay close to Basra, they've been there before.

Bush and his team have got to be the most ignorant pissholes in matters of war of this kind... or, they WANTED it this way.

however way I look at it, it's blood curdling scarey.

4. This is unbelievable!
I am calling my senator Monday to see how one goes about providing food for our troops, since the military doesn't seem to be able to manage to do it. I am sick and outraged and can only think of one answer to this incredible mess:

DEFEAT BUSH!!
