I wish my DU friends in America could get it. Every day is a different scathing documentary, and they replay them serveral times a week.

On edit:make that all Americans.

1. The WHOLE WORLD has something against the Bushies!
And thank goodness for the CBC--they're doing the world a great public service by broadcasting these truth-telling documentaries, something the regular media here will NEVER deign to do.

Oh, and what has the once-estimable BBC been up to? Not freakin' much, it seems. Kudos to the CANADIANS!

2. Available on News World International
which, regrettably, is being bought and redesigned by a consortium led by Al Gore. :-(

5. Yes, because NWI provides a unique service that is not available elsewhere
to those of us who have cable rather than satellite: 24 hours of news from outside the U.S. (My apartment building doesn't allow satellite receivers)

It was the only channel I could stand to watch during the Iraq War.

There are plenty of lame channels around. It's regrettable that Al Gore had to buy (and plans to change) one of the best ones.

7. Argh, and I've been missing NWI all this time? I've got cable, don't care
for a dish. Is it a premium channel? I'll have to check with my local cable company.

6. Not always; CBC Newsworld's domestic and international services
Edited on Sat Oct-23-04 07:16 PM by Minstrel Boy
have different schedules. The domestic Newsworld carries many documentaries and series I wish progressive Americans could see.

The link above is to the domestic service, unavailable in the US.
