14. Crushing the right-wingers
Our enemy is the VRWC. Each and every honest DU'er is dead set against the anti-democratic forces whoever they may be.

We all have our own ways of dealing with our enemies and in that diversity is an amazing strength, a strength that we are just now beginning to make good use of.

May the force be with us. Tune in, turn on, and "Let's go get those Bush Bastards!"

16. There is no one issue. It's that we are all Dems. or Dem-sympathizers,
as well as anti-Bushites.

However, we all feel differently about the different issues.

18. The Liberal Umbrella
IMHO, the one issue we can all agree on is that we're all in this together...including the Freeptards, and to be strong as a nation, we must all stand together.

I have been a member here for about six months, and in that time, I have had some heated arguments with quite a few people. I've started a few flame posts and I've responded angrily to others' opinions.

I have grown wiser from these experiences, and am finally realizing what it means to agree to disagree.

To me, the unifying theme here is TOLERANCE. I have learned to take others' emtional outbursts with a grain of salt, and I find myself reading more and reacting less. My moranic co-workers don't really bother me anymore, I don't watch tv news anymore, and I'm a happier person today because of this community.

Before we fought against the devine right of kings. Now we fight against the devine right of wealth. Repubs were Tories before and they are Tories now. Just a different set of clothes for the king.

I recall a time when most of DU was vehemently against this illegal invasion and occupation.

Sad, really.

28. The war is an issue, a serious issue,
but it couldn't have become an issue if the dems hadn't been cowed by coprporate power and gone along with it -- if we listened to our people rather than our pocketbooks we could have stopped the war before it happened.

Keeping the power with the people and making the party responsive to us.
