Just like I posted, the night before the election, it sure would be nice to get a few more pep talks like that.

It is always nice to know that the people you just spilled your guts for care, ain't it?

I think the total silence by our leaders has been one of the more hurtful aspects of these last few days, but of course, they're probably reeling just like we were. After finding out what she did and her husband conceding, Mrs. Edwards certainly didn't have to make a statement, let alone post one on DU.

Sigh. So much class. This nation will never realize what they're missing out on.

5. I agree.

They were, and still are, our officers. We were the foot soldiers, a mantle I wear proudly and with no shame. In the bad times and the good, the officers lead, and in that leading, inspire the troops, and yes, they use the pep talk. Especially in the bad times.

More of this is necessary. Through their words and their recognition of us, we can heal, thrive and find that which we need to do it again.

We will do it again. Oh yes. We will do it again.

has made me cry! As badly as we feel right now, I imagine they are going thorough so much more angst! I love them ALL! 8. I am so touched by Elizabeth and Chris...

and maybe others who have visited our humble board. The love I feel for them far surpasses any feelings of despair I have about this election.

Elizabeth has shown me how classy and brave she is; it's plain to see why John loves her so much.

that Elizabeth and Chris stopped in to DU and said hello. Sometimes watching them on the TV and even seeing them at rallies just makes them all the more "untouchable".....it really made me feel better to read what they had to say and know what they are feeling right now. I am grateful to them for posting here! Hopefully, they will stick around!

that there were so many nasty posts involving Kerry/Edwards. She didn't have to do anything and she did anyway. That was crazy.
