How about another bumper sticker saying something like that? Again, feel free to refine. How do you make bumper stickers?

1. It's up to them to heed the call up
I saw the young repukes at the polling stations in FLA. Are they enlisting now?

2. My husband has taken it one step further...
My cousin is still in High School so he can get some recruitment papers. He is going to try and get 2 sets of papers and he and my husband are going to fill out the forms with my 2 Bush voting brothers information and take them to Thanksgiving dinner and say, "Put your actions behind your vote. Sign here and here and here. If you support the war, go fight in it." Of course we wouldn't send them in but if we have the papers, it will really be more dramatic.

I can't wait to see what they say (or don't say for that matter).

4. Take it another step and put your money where your mouth is
If he feels so strongly, he could go join the insurgents as another foreign fighter.

7. What?
My brothers fight as foreign fighters in Iraq? Why would they do that when they support Bush? They should be heading into Fallujah right now if they are so suppportive of Bush's war. If it is going "so good over there" then they should enlist without fear. I guess your post confused me a little bit.

9. Makes as more sense as filling out bogus papers
But I guess you just want to antagonize - just more hot air

14. Why. Because I want to put my Bush voting brother on the spot?
Edited on Sun Nov-07-04 12:05 PM by lovedems
The ones who listens to Hannity and Bildo and think anyone who dislikes Bush is just a left wing nut job? Yes, I do want to antagonize them because I have 4 sons who will be effected by my dumbass brothers vote. Sometimes you have to be dramatic to make a fucking point and that is exactly what my husband and I are going to do.

15. Wonderful passion or just histronics? The latter I think.
Antagonism isn't going to help govern the nation or gather new voters for the next election. (Who is Bildo, by the way?) It would be the perfect drama queen stroke to hand your brothers their prefilled out papers and then announce that you, husband and cousin are headed to Iraq to work against Bush policies on the war - for real - as foreign fighters. What theater - it would make the party. It would really make your point - not just reveal you as hot air. Meanwhile, more serious people will be l;ooking for ways to regain the party, promote viable candidates and win elections.

16. My actions towards my brothers won't seperate them from the republican
Edited on Sun Nov-07-04 12:43 PM by lovedems
party, ever. I won't ever get them to switch parties but I would like to get them to see the hypocrisy they embrace so willingly. You see, poor people fight their wars. That is the way it is for them. Rich people deserve tax breaks in their eyes. Life begins at conception for those white boys who will never experience an unwanted pregnancy. Aggression is "way better" then diplomacy especially when it comes to people with brown skin. Tough talk turns them on. A great leader is one who leads by gut rather then sense and they really love the destruction of science if it promotes their warped way of thinking. What you call "hot air" I call dialogue and dramatics between my brothers and their hypocritical mindset. You do things the way you want. More power to you but I am a democrat as well and I don't need you to judge my actions regarding my family. Make no mistake about it, I am just as serious as you and I didn't ask for your two cents on this issues. Let me handle my family the best way I see fit, OK?

Edited to add: Bildo would be Bill O'Reilly. My new name for him after his sex talking court case.

17. Enjoy your family Thanksgiving
I would not wish to intrude on your family - in deed I am glad I am not a part of it. I didn't mean to judge your actions with your family, merely the idea you put forward. Do continue to make up fun names for people you don't agree with - I guess that's dialogue and dramatics. Perhaps it will even bring in as many voters as it turns off. In the future though, I would suggest that you don't post your "drama" to open forums if you don't want comments. With the fervent hope that you do continue to enjoy your misery, I will end my parrt of this useless exchange.

8. YEAH! Thank you!
I will print those out and fill out my brothers information and watch them stammer and become kings of excuses!

That is if we have Turkey dinner with them. The rest of my family voted Kerry so we are all of the mindset if you voted for Bush, cook your own damn food! I think it will be a "liberals only" Thanksgiving dinner and we will give thanks for intelligence. My husband is bound and determined to present these papers to my brothers!

18. I plan on taking these when I go out
My Kerry button is still on my coat and I want to make some sort of Dem or blue button for the future. I hope to create some sort of button like "No War In Iraq" to pin to my handbag that would invite the rabid so I can hand them an application.

20. I am at a loss how people
can support this war but not willing to fight it themselves or let thier kids fight it. It should the basis for which you approve of military action or not. Well, it is my basis. If I would not be willing to let my own sons fight, I cannot support. If it is not worthy of my sons sacrifice then it isn't worthy of my neighbor (or my neighbors son) sacrifice. I see all to many people say, "Well, I don't care about the draft. I have a disability."

I wish you luck in your endeavor. I am certain you won't have any takers who will put their life behind their vote. Maybe your point will be made.

21. People won't take them seriously
But I'll make them take it. Today, I looked for cars with B/C bumper stickers and didn't see any at all. Not at my grocery parking lot nor at the library. I did see two cars with K/E stickers, though. And I live in Colorado, supposedly a red state. Odd that we voted in a majority Democrat for our state legislature - but the shrub of president.

19. ANOTHER GOOD ONE
This is the way to drive the point home. People are pretty flip when the "others" are shedding blood. When it hits home, it is amazing how thier views change....instantaneously.
