Deacon Sean Hannity
Has anyone ever seen this show? It is a comedy if I have ever seen one. It is called Hannity and Colmes but I call it Insanity in Homes. They have Sean Hannity who makes Monsignor O’Reilly look like Gandhi. He is boisterous, obnoxious and just all out rude. The show usually has one or two more conservatives with a liberal guest who they rip apart. His cohort Colmes, who is a mild mannered moderate, usually gets in two minutes which is one more than the liberal guest. I really think it is funny except for the horrible attitude of conservative Sean Hannity and the passions they stir in the hearts of the insipid daily. I liken this show as well as the entire Fox news network to wrestling. Everyone knows it is fake but so many people give it credence. I could go on and on about his allegiance to the faith of the fascist council and the kill the poor mantra the lowly deacon espouses but to show how this religion affects everyone even the deacon I will relay a short story. This story tells that it is all about defending the faith. During the case in Florida with Elian Gonzalez, I remember conservative family members originally agreeing with me and saying even if Castro was the devil himself the boy belonged with his father. And I was told by these same faithful family members “Hannity agrees because he is a father.” But then the word came down from the church of the right wing clan that all Clinton haters should be against returning the boy to his father. And subsequently the family faithful and Deacon Hannity were brought back into the fold. And the age-old prayer of destroying the communist for the good of the capitalist was once again prayed in every holy household.

I will keep posting excerpts until the whole book has been posted in DU as I feel it so relevant after the election.
