Amazon polls on Crichton's book are getting FREEPED

When you read the customer reviews of Crichton's anti-environmentalist "State of Fear," all the favorable reviews have very high ratings from the site's visitors (such as "8 of 9 people found this review helpful"), while all the negative reviews get low ratings (such as "0 of 7 people found this review helpful").

I believe Amazon is getting Freeped....

1. Aren't all online polls a bunch of garbage?

I am unsurprised that they would freep this. Some sort of self-selecting survey seems scientifically suspect.

2. I suspect that the PR people at the publishing company write those...

reviews. Or friends of the author.

Remember those pathetic little movies trying to "reverse" Fahrenheit 9/11? Crichton's book is a similar reaction to The Day After Tomorrow. Lord knows, Will makes THAT obvious enough in his fartings...

5. Cause they believe hurricanes form from high pressure areas like Crichton

The guy is a supposed brilliant but re-writes meteorological facts in his book.

LOL--Yeah Mike,it rains and snows all the time around here when high pressure moves in. And freepers like the trained sheep they are will swallow this up without question.
