Why did the two-faced bush graphic die?

4. I think it was a way to try to educate the public

that Bush isn't what he pretends to be. With the election past, the main push for using it ended.

Although I appreciated the way it could quickly put across the question of the administration's honesty, the image never did much for me personally. Bush has only one "face," and it is not pretty. You really have to drink the Kool Aid to see him as a "nice guy," let along a "great leader."

Besides, now that he's "won" the election, I think * will become less important to the administration. Cheney has run the show for some time anyway, and now they won't need the sock puppet as much. With all that HARD WORK, he needs more vacations!

And it's a half face.... sorry, I just don't see two faces there at all. It looks more to me like a graphic about race relations or good/evil than anything else.

I think it didn't resonate as intended because the message is too far a trip from the visual.
A good symbol works because it explains itself immediately to the viewer. A bad visual symbol has to be explained verbally.

I applauded the intent but there was no way for it to really have the desired impact.
The concept was too obtuse to be immediately understood for the normal viewer.

sorry to be brutally honest, guys. I do graphics for a living, so I know whereof I speak here.
I didn't mention it before the election (I don't think) because I appreciated ANY efforts to dethrone the antichrist, even those I considered less effectual than others.

Bush is a two face, but what does that mean? The graphic is bad and kind of reminds me of that Warhol Einstein. How would you expect anyone to identify with that?

Now compare it to "Flip Flopper", you know exactly what that means, it does not even need a graphic. If you did use a graphic, a picture of Kerry in clown size flip flop sandals would work perfectly.
