My local 11:00 news talked about Condi being headed for easy confirmation and then "the tide turned." It showed Boxer questioning Condi.

IS there any doubt about confirmation??

and the true believers are the only people Idiot ever listens to. If Congress won't confirm her (unlikely, with Delay holding party purse strings), expect Bush to do something underhanded to keep her in the office she is ill suited for.

My guess is that she will sail through with enough old maids in pants on the Dem side of the aisle voting for her to make the difference.

These are the same senators who did not contest the election (except Boxer). They are making a stink for your benefit and mine, but they will cave. They always have. You can take that to the bank.
