3. Those who REFUSED to serve HIDING behind those who did.
Typical Republican bait and switch.

4. I used to feel some awe and respect for the presidency.
Now I feel about it the same way I feel about greeting at Wal-Mart. It's a worthless position. This crew has degraded it into meaninglessness.

5. Reminiscent of Hitler documentaries
If she wasn't dead I would have guessed that Leni Riefenstahl set this stage for * and company. She did such a wonderful job with the Hitler documentaries. I find pictures 2 and 3 very scary.

6. holy shit! Nuremberg Rallies revisited.
the imagery in the backdrop is eerily reminiscent of Hitler et al during the 30's in Nazi Germany.

And bear in mind that a lot of thought goes into the design of these events. Imagery is all etc.

I am mighty glad I don't live in the US, even though I admire a lot about your country.

7. I know one soldier that served in Bush's illegal war
that would love to flip him off (my hubby). That thing for the troops (whatever it was called) -- my husband said it wouldn't be televised because of all the "boos". Nice thought but they probably picked soldiers that voted for the fool. Bush is pretty hated among most of the soldiers my husband knows. Even the republican ones don't like Bush or his little war.
