O.K. with all the people defending Kos in this non-scandal..
about working for the Dean campaign, why are even the most strident of his defenders not pointing out the obvious at every turn: Williams took taxpayer money. Kos did not. Why is anyone comparing the two?

Am I wrong about this? If I am right about this, it should be the first point of discussion for any rebuttal, no matter how unnecessary a rebuttal should be in the first damn place.

2. It has been pointed out many times.
On the other hand, the media whores are ignoring the obvious as usual.

The MSM is after the left-leaning blogs. That much is clearly apparent.

3. I keep seeing so many articles/blogs that don't though...
I guess the way I see it, that should be first and foremost stated and that is it. Everything else is just entrenching the notion that this is some kind of scandal in deeper. Maybe I haven't been reading the right articles or blogs. I'm not even talking about the mainstream media. I'm talking strictly lefty circles and articles and blogs. I'm just amazed at how many of them I read that don't hit that point right off the bat.

5. Non-Issue
Kos made it clear that he was an adviser for the Dean campaign. And if I was in his position I would have done the exact same thing.

MSM is just mad because it has become more and more marginalized when it comes to influencing the opinion of the public.

7. I know it's a non-issue.....
And what makes it a non-issue is that one point. I guess I don't understand why so many on the left feel the need to over-explain it and rationalize it beyond that.

8. They are using the Kos/blog
to distract from the Williams issue. Typical right-wing tactics. Strictly a tactical move.

10. I know that's what they are doing...I just think...
that true to form the left is using it as an opportunity to be long winded and pontificate about details when they should just point out one (the most important aspect of it) and hammer it home incessantly. Taxpayer versus private money. End of story. Period. Instead blogs and articles are actually engaging the debate and discussing these nuances of it.

9. Kos did not get any money from Dean agreed, but even if he DID:

a liberal blogger taking payment from Dean's campaign or personal monies is a very different animal than a conservative media pundit taking money from THE WHITE HOUSE!!!!
