4. It's a joke in bad taste; I just re-read the subject line.
I think his subject line is incorrect too.

3. They're all obscene, except for four.
The four pics that are not obscene are the ones you claim are obscene. Why? Because those four show the one REALITY of war - a misery invented by humankind. War is not natural. It is a horrible sin.

All the others pics, BTW, are typical degenerate political shit. Any politician I see in those pics I refuse to acknowledge as anything other than "people" exploing others for their own career's benefit. And, ues, I see who is in those pictures.

As to the four I am standing up for: The top three plut the left one in the middle row. The others disgust me. Utterly. And I ain't happy with the other four, but at least they're genuine. Which hurts to say because it's genuinely HORRIBLE to see. x(

6. Pics...
of the Chimpie and his "loose" daughter partying away with no care in the world while our beloved soldiers are fighting and dying (in vain) is just sooo obscene and vulgar. Someone should actually print copies of this and hand them out at the BIG SOIREE tomorrow.

5. r/click, save as. What upsets me
is that the pics depict sickening stuff but people just seem anaethesised to it all. I blame fucking TV for that. It's just another movie show.

Exposure to violence on TV from an early age is known to make people accept violence as just another part of the scenery. There are studies on this but I can't be bothered tracking them down.

9. Not I, sorry. I grew up with 80s violence and video games.
And my posts should hopefully not even suggest I am numb to the brutality of war and the need to avoid it.

Of course, I'm also atypical of my own generation...

11. LOL! OK, most general statements don't withstand close scrutiny
but it is largely true as far as I know. OK, it's not quite that simple; there are other factors to feed into the equation. As a principle though continuous exposure to violence numbs the senses to the same.

10. You had it right the first time. The top three are graphic, the middle
three upsetting and the bottom three are most definitely DISTURBING.

13. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times
Best for Bushies and his corporate sponsors, bad for American volunteers and Iraqi civilians and just about everyone else.
