I take it as a message from somewhere - nature, "God," whatever one chooses to believe in - that even at one of the darkest moments in human history (the re-installation of B**h) that there is a promise of better times to come. The Buddhists teach that all things are impermanent, and they are right. Everything is temporary. Even Mount Everest hasn't always been there and won't always be there. This flash of darkness is just a blink in the eye, and light will shine down on us in the future, and trees will burst into bloom and spread their lovely fragrance to us no matter what horrible people are in power and what horrible actions they take.
