Ultra right wing radio goes over the top in Dallas
I have been noticing these tasteless billboards going up all around my area. They are pathetic and show no class whatsoever. Here is a news article about them. There is another one I have seen that shows a pic of Saddam with a caption that says "Caught"; one of Arafat that says "Dead" and one of Bin Forgotten with the caption "Next."

The radio station is this one. I say we let them have it. www.klif.com
Make sure you take a look at their banned commerical. They are loony.

1. Are they saying we killed Arafat?
Edited on Mon Jan-24-05 12:51 PM by aquart
Shouldn't people call in for a story about how we did it? Don't the people have a right to know?

Is Arafat getting posthumous credit for 911 or are they saying it's good to kill all Arab or Muslim leaders? If so, there's an Egyptian who was assassinated they might want to include.

Kind of weird sign.

7. It's stupid and misleading

Of course they are insinuating this. The lack of tact and shock value of the billboards is surprising even for this station. But, hey, when your president is from here I guess you feel embolden to put out such bold statements however dumb they make you look. True colors are showing here I am afraid. It disgusts me.

2. Have you seen the one that has OBL and the words
"SOME PEOPLE WANT YOU DEAD"

I mean, what's that about? Yeah, they do. So what?

I don't get those billboards at ALL, but then what do you expect from "hatio?"

WBAP is another really bad one.

5. Wasn't OBL supposed to be first, not next?
He's been forgotten by dubya long time. I loved when dubya said maybe I shouldn't have said wanted dead or alive or something like that. I think the word he regretted was "wanted".

8. Don't you love the flames behind Bin Forgotten?
As if he is the devil or boogey man. This people are surreal. They play on fear for ratings and totally obfuscate whenever possible.

9. Yeah. Very proud of it.
And that is scary. They are making up the news just like The Daily Show, but at least they tell you the news is fake.

10. Be funny if some freeway blogger painted OBL's pic with the word
"Forgotten"

Now that would make a point...

12. Creating more fear
Go to www.klif.com today. They have this banner.

It is just almost irresponsible the type of hysteria they are trying to create.
