If Bush lied about getting a blow job...
Edited on Tue Jan-25-05 03:25 PM by LaPera

from someone, other than Laura (not that she would ever even consider going down on little Georgie), in the past four or five years. Would all the republicans you know, then hate and despise Bush? Would they criticize all of Bush's policies, or would they make excuses for the little dictator?

If Bush's enemies expressed outrage, (whether made up or not) about his business dealings 20 years before he stole the presidency (Harken)...Would the republicans express anger and call for Bush's head?

If Bush was to put the United States into incredible debt, to the tune of the forecasts 880 billion dollars and still demand 80 billion dollars more, for his stupid, deadly mess in Iraq...Would the republicans even question the chimp?

If Bush was to have lied, absolutely outright lied about Weapons of Mass Destruction as the reason to invade Iraq and kill ten of thousands of soldiers, Iraqi's and others...Would the republican's demand impeachment?

If Bush was to use the same lies to invade oil rich Iran...Would the republicans demand some facts first?

If Bush's lies about Social Security and his GOP vow and pledge to destroy Social Security (and the New Deal) "forever"...Would the republicans question his fairness and right to do so?

What would it take for republicans to see?

1. All the fundies would just excuse it as a mistake and say it is OK
because he has said the sinners prayer and is saved.
They are totaly blind to what they have done to this country.

2. If Bush lied about a blow job
I would call the Republicans out on their hypocrisy, but I would oppose impeachment, even if he lied about it under oath.

6. If Bush lied about getting a blow job
and got caught, the media would decide that it was a PATRIOTIC blow job, dammit, and leave it alone. Not like that damn Clinton who caused 9/11 and all. :eyes:

Bush would have to rape his daughters, murder a puppy, and worship Satan in a single press conference, and even then it might not get through to some of them.

8. Fundies would praise him when he asked for forgiveness
And then they would say, 'he's only a man, and WHAT A MAN! he is.'
Lieberman would applaud, hoot, and holler,
then he would start the chant: 'four more years!'
Bush would be appointed president for life in a
special joint session. Three Dems would oppose.

9. They would begin worshiping the woman
(you did mean a woman in your example, right?) like some xtians worship Mary.

If she got pregnant, they would call it an immaculate conception and the offspring would be the second coming.

11. The stress of office was obviously taking a toll on his good judgement
and the pressures of saving America from the world was allowing Satan's fingers to do their work. Bush is a good man, and he's not perfect, so how dare you try bring down such an honorable, just, honest Presidency which restored dignitude to the White House? :argh:

12. They weren't mad about the blow job
Make no mistake. It wasn't moral outrage. It was just an excuse.

So, I think it is safe to say that conservatives would not give a shit.

I mean, come on. Conservatives tout family values and Fox has a show called "Wife Swap" (among other shows they have launched, such as Temptation Isalnd).

I appreciate your point, though. Really, I don't think there is anything that would make them turn on Bush.

He could give a speech in which he announces that they had advance knowledge of 9/11 and then either did nothing or let it happen, and the country would still support him.

14. Bush would have to lie to say he DID get one. Besides,
they ARE murdering puppies - soldiers' adopted puppies in Iraq.

He could say "Yeah, I ordered the 9/11 attacks, now watch this drive"
and it would be OK with the repugs.

16. It's Okay. God told him to get a BJ!
But if he had to ask for forgiveness, he could cry really hard, tears streaming down his face, and they would KNOW in thier hearts that he is God's Chosen One to lead us into Armageddon.
