Bush outdid Reagan already on the National Debt
I was checking out the history of the National Debt, and it took Bush only one term to increase the debt by the same amount Reagan did in two terms (both numbers adjusted for 2000 dollars).

5. Reagan was actually much worse
While the dollar amount for Bush might be larger, Reagan had increased the national debt by 189% in 8 years.

8. A life-long Republican in my church surprised me recently.
He said, without provocation, "Republicans used to value fiscal responsibility. How can President Bush do this to us?"

I fear we will head into economic disaster that will make the "Great Depression" seem like a mild recession.
