Do we think GW is TOO smart?
Ok, on a local board here in my town someone asked for everyone to describe the state of delusion address in two words. Well my two words would have been "Didn't watch" but anyway hardly anyone could only use two words with the exception of "bull shit" and "fear monger". heh. So one of the brainwashed ones comes back with this response to someone saying that * isn't smart enough to be president. Read it and laugh your ass off or cry because with people like this I wonder how we will ever get back to any kind of normal life.

The main democractic complaint about GW is that he is too smart. GW gives you the impression that he is out of step but his mind is always working faster then one would think. He is far from DUMB.Obviously you are entitled to your opinion and it may be a bumpy ride form your point of view..I believe in what GW is doing. Once again he is not changing something that will affect us immediately. He sees things that need change and is acting on those problems now. In the years ahead GW will be noted as one of the greatest men of our time. That is my opinion and you may agree or disagree.

Maybe I've been out of touch for the last 4 years but the words George W Bush and too smart has never ever entered my mind. Where do these people get this stuff? Are they so lunatic they just sit and make these stories up in their heads? I don't get it.

1. I'd prefer to think that he is
smarter than peole give him credit for.

It's embarrassing to get your ass handed to you by someone who is dumber than yourself.

2. Personally I think it's Rove and other advisors
By himself Bush would have some strengths, but not be nearly as dangerous.

That's it. He's dumber than people think. Ever followed his life story? He's just got golden genes.

4. Song of the Kool-Aid drinkers
Suffice it to say in all my time on "democractic" boards, the issue of Shrub being too smart has NEVER, EVER come up. I've seen him called everything under the sun, but NEVER too smart, lol!

Another thing I've noticed popping up in the posts of the Kool-Aid drinkers is the phrase "In the years ahead GW will be noted as one of the greatest men of our time."

These folk are criminally pathetic and gullible.

5. My take
GW - Puppet Monkey.

He is just a front. There are backers. He fit the bill for being a puppet monkey. Only problem I see, they got it right on the puppet part. The monkey part is a disaster. They forget to train the monkey better.

The saying goes "Make Hay While the Sun Shine". I see a desperate rush to grab as much as possible. Almost sucidical in that aspect.
It is really a short term goal for profit. There is no long term goal cause this cannot be sustain without bringing total economical ruin to US.

In short the Republican Party has been taken for a ride. Destination unknown. The Twillight Zone.

However since the monkey is driving, Republicans, Democrats and the US citizen are also on board. Chaos and confusion reign as everyone try to figure out how journey end be like. The Twillight Zone.

9. I think your take is right on the money
He was never more than a spoiled, drunken, frat-boy who had the world handed to him on a silver platter... literally. Whats really sad is that once he was given the presidency he could have made amends for being such a loser, but he just wasn't enough of a man.

15. A successful man learns from failure
A born loser will never learn from it.
The desire to appear successful will result in total disregard to all rational or logical signs of impending disaster.
The need is irrational like why does a boaster need to boast.
The more people around the boaster wants to put him down the bigger and more outrageous will a new boast be.

Sadly bush is headed towards a chasm. He will step right in and take the fall. History will record this, but his backers will laugh and dine and wait for the next Puppet Monkey to come along for another big killing.

13. I agree, Bush is simply being propped up by a bunch of handlers
He can barely read the freakin' teleprompter and he stumbles through interviews. The guy is NOT smart. Sociopathic perhaps, but not intelligent.

Edited on Thu Feb-03-05 10:42 PM by Stirk

"GW Bush isn't too smart, is he?"

"Whew- that GW Bush ain't too smart".

Ok, you got me on that one. Can I claim tiredness due to a sick child at home? Also, can I use your post? Anything to piss this guy off on the local board is "a good thing".

He is too smart if you are comparing him to a brick. If you are comparing him to a third grader...I don't think so.

manipulate words and rhetoric to make lies seem like the truth is just amazing. They've got the majority of American's fooled.

14. Honestly I think he is smart, just not ethical or a good speaker
Hitler, Serial Killers, psychopaths, they are smart too. Smart people can get away with terrible things if they don't have ethics, morals or a conscience.

19. If he is so smart, then he is EXTREMELY guilty
some things I am willing to write off as gross incompetence (which is still very wrong). But if he is that smart, then he should go to jail immediately.
