My local Blockbuster is pissed over lack of sales/anti-Michael Moore film!

I was in Blockbuster last night rather late. I think I may have been the only one there. over heard a sales clerk tell another how pissed their manager was. Before Fahrenheit 911 came out on dvd several customers requested the counter Michael Moore film, 'Fahrenhype 911'. The manager agreed & bought 9 copies. According to their computers, since late October 2004 NOT ONE of the 9 copies has rented. Not even by an employee. They were pissed because they are taking titles off the shelf & marking them down as previewed movies, althought Fahrenhype 911 isn't previewed, THEIR BRAND NEW!

I think this is pretty awsome!

According to these employees, quite a few customers objected to Blockbuster carrying Fahrenheit 911 & requested Fahrenhype 911. Either they just lost interest or they bought them at Wal-Mart for themselves. Either way, Blockbuster got screwed (for some reason I'm kind of glad)

Sometimes, when I see Passion of the Christ on a shelf in a video store, I take all of the copies and hide them behind other movies. I especially like hiding them behind Angels in America, Will & Grace, Farenheit 9-11, and Schindler's List.

Last Temptation of Christ is really a great movie, and frankly it pissed off a lot of people because it dared to suggest that Jesus was a person, like you and me, with feelings, fears, insecurities, and... GASP!... a wife.

I recommend it - it's really good and has a cool soundtrack.

4. haha, that is the same at ours, only they can't seem to keep F 9-11

on the shelf!!! It's always rented on the weekends!! And this in one of the reddest counties in Nevada!!!
