From a website called 'Jeff Gannons Washington' If this is a dupe sorry.

1. He can be a catty little bitch too
here he's demeaning someone from ABC

snip: Why might she think that ABC deserves to have special access to President Bush? Perhaps poor Ann hasn't heard Terry Moran's accusatorial questions at the White House briefings. Maybe she is in a bar every night during Peter Jenning's broadcast. It's anybody's guess what she's doing on Sunday mornings when a former Clinton spokesman conducts the worst of the network news shows.

2. Did you read this article, "I Got Smeared"
http://web.archive.org/web/20031203172719/jeffgannon.com/smeared.htm

(snip)

But Jaffe suggested that the White House is reacting to the negative reporting by attacking members of the press corps. He wrote:

“There are signs the White House may be going on the offensive, striking back at reporters it considers too aggressive. Both Moran and NBC’s David Gregory were singled out in a dispatch published in Talon News, a news service sponsored by GOPUSA, a Republican Party news service.”

He’s talking about me! Jaffe is claiming that I am a Republican Party operative instructed by the White House to write a hit piece on these two reporters. Both of those allegations are totally and completely false.

(snip)

However, the most bothersome aspect of the article was that Jaffe contacted Ken Bazinet of the New York Daily News, Bob Deans of Cox Newspapers and Terry Moran of ABC News for quotes to use in his story. These are all people I work with every day in the White House briefing room. He didn’t bother to contact me before putting on the smear.

4. Good observation. Are you referring to the obvious degradation
of Daschle's character? Geez, you'd think Daschle was this idiots only focus! So...maybe they "rewarded" the boy-toy each time he "successfully completed" an assignment? It's just a matter of time before we get the scoop on this!

5. Damn, I haven't read this site yet and it is full of links to Gannonesque
justification for his unbiased reporting:

I GOT SMEARED!

For the second time in as many weeks, the liberal media has taken a shot at me. Recently an article appeared in the Washingtonian magazine’s online feature, Washington Buzz entitled, “Can White House Stay on Message Amid Leaks?”. In it, political writer Harry Jaffe tried to make the point that the alleged leak of a CIA agent’s name by someone in the administration has caused problems for a White House that had been otherwise effective in maintaining a unified front in dealing with the press corps.

While it is true that decidedly partisan reporters in the White House press corps have dominated the briefings with endless questions about “leakgate”, the administration does not appear on the verge of collapse from defections on the lower echelons. Neither has the administration gone into the “stonewalling” mode so often seen during the Clinton years. In fact, the investigation into the matter is proceeding at lightning speed.

(snip)

He’s talking about me! Jaffe is claiming that I am a Republican Party operative instructed by the White House to write a hit piece on these two reporters. Both of those allegations are totally and completely false.

(snip)

To say that I lack credibility because I ask questions that don’t assume the President is an illegitimate, corrupt, lying, warmongering extremist is laughable. It seems that I am virtually alone in trying to balance out the agenda-driven questions so that the full story can be told. Apparently the President sees it that way as well, since he recently spoke out about the filtering that news gets about events in Iraq.

7. Look at what he said about Ann Compton:
Ann Compton, a correspondent for ABC news, recently delivered her news report on a Washington, DC talk show and then spent a few moments chatting with the hosts.

President Bush had just given an exclusive interview to a London tabloid, The Sun. She noted that the newspaper was owned by Rupert Murdoch and lamented that ABC was unable to get a similar interview with the President.

Why might she think that ABC deserves to have special access to President Bush? Perhaps poor Ann hasn't heard Terry Moran's accusatorial questions at the White House briefings. Maybe she is in a bar every night during Peter Jenning's broadcast. It's anybody's guess what she's doing on Sunday mornings when a former Clinton spokesman conducts the worst of the network news shows.

Excuse the pun but this guy had a hard-on for Daschle.

"Over the last six weeks, I have investigated charges that Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle (D-SD) has a close relationship with the star reporter of the state's largest newspaper. Critics claim that relationship, hidden for decades, has benefited the Senator and the Democratic Party in South Dakota."

17. Wasn't that hard-on induced by the "powers that be" ? They wanted Daschle!
If you think about it- right after the Nov. Election it was all over the place that the Boys at the Top wanted Daschle OUT! Part of the boy-toy's job description? Could be...

19. Jiffy-Lube Jeff has the "some people say" M.O. down pat.
This should read, "Over the last six weeks, I've answered ads for male escorts, and, in my spare time, disseminated nasty, unfounded rumors generated from the White House to discredit Daschle."

AFAIC, Jiffy-Lube Jeff is fair game. He wants to dish it out and then squeals like a stuck pig because he can't take it. That comment about Ann in the bar is disgusting.

:nopity:

8. Thank God for internet Archives!
That page is too funny

"In May 2003, at the height of the New York Times scandal that exposed star reporter Jayson Blair as a fraud and led to the ouster of editor Howell Raines, "

"Perhaps poor Ann hasn't heard Terry Moran's accusatorial questions at the White House briefings."

"For the second time in as many weeks, the liberal media has taken a shot at me. "

14. Is the key to the Gannon/Guckert link to Plame in this article?
http://web.archive.org/web/20031206022212/www.talonnews.com/news/2003/october/1003_wh_partisanship.shtml

On Wednesday, the White House told Talon News that they were unaware of Ambassador Wilson being selected by the CIA and did not comment on whether anyone in the administration asked the CIA why a partisan would be sent on the mission to Niger.

It was shortly after this article was written that Jeff Gannon had his interview with Joe Wilson. It is obvious, in this article, that Jeff/Jim didn't have the same knowledge that he relays in the interview with Mr. Wilson. So, when Jeff Gannon talked to the White House (which is another interesting fact) what exactly did they tell him?

15. I think I found my answer (probably nothing to it)
In the press briefing on October 3, 2003, here's the exchange between Jeff/Jim and Scott

Q I'm no Bob Novak, but my feelings are really hurt that nobody leaked anything to me. (Laughter.)

Has the White House asked George Tenet or anyone else at the CIA why they would send a partisan, like Ambassador Wilson, on this mission? And because he is so partisan --

MR. McCLELLAN: Has who asked? Has who asked anybody?

Q Has the White House asked George Tenet or anyone at the CIA why they would send a partisan like Ambassador Wilson on this mission? He's proven himself to be partisan, and does that cast doubt on the report that he filed in this matter?

MR. McCLELLAN: Yes, I think we've kind of been through this issue already. I don't know of any such conversations. Certainly, I don't think it's my position to get into speculating about someone's motives. I think that is a role for you in the media to determine how to follow.

16. Nah, Gannon never sexually harassed anyone (that we know of)
The suit, filed by a former attorney for the Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund, alleged that Williams repeatedly kissed Gregory; grabbed his buttocks and genitals; and manipulated him into taking out-of-town trips, where they shared the same hotel room, and Williams would crawl into Gregory’s bed.

On at least one occasion, Williams allegedly displayed his penis to Gregory, and asked him to examine it.

As well, the suit states that Gregory resisted these advances, was fired after just nine months on the job, and filed his harassment suit shortly thereafter.

The lawsuit eventually was settled out of court, based on undisclosed terms. Gregory moved to a job on Oliver North’s radio program.

Bite your tongue.

the only way his lifestyle could be more conservative is if he turned out to be a pedophile on top of everything else.

He's a typical warmongering closeted gay republicans. Hates himself, so hates you to make himself feel better about hating himself.
