It is DU Fund Drive Time! Where would you be without DU?

Give at least $10. I know for many of us that is a lot to give, but just what does DU mean to you?

IMHO, DU, is hands down, one of the single most important best boards on the net, and we've been around awhile (the net). Skinner and all else have done an amazing job!

really, I couldn't make it without DU. I felt so alone before I found DU 3years ago, helpless and alone, like I was the only one that saw what was happening to our country.

I contribute whenever I can, usually twice a year. Not a lot, I'm on disability and have a daughter in College, but there always a few bucks kicking around twice a year.

2. I just donated to DU with matching funds to Dean!

That'd be a great idea if you can afford it. I didn't do alot, but if I can do it quarterly, that's helping some. Wish I could afford more :)

3. To Clinton and Woodsprite, that is all it takes, just $1.00 or two from

us all and for those of us that have more to give - GIVE IT! I might be wrong, but I know without DU, I would have gone completely mad and my husband and I have made/found some very good friends across this country and the world. Thank you Skinner and all the rest! DU is one of the hands down best on the net!

21. We got married in August of 2003.

We met in February of 2003 at a casual (First time meeting) get together with her (And her friend) and me and my sister and her fiance. I was visiting family in Charlotte, NC, so I posted that on DU, she responded, and well, we hit it off. Nothing planned, it just happened.

The thing is that I lived in Florida and she lived in North Carolina. We got married and actually lived apart for the first 7 months until I got a job in NC.

All's well that ends well however and we're very happy.
