I've been watching the news today and over the past couple weeks, and there has been a virtual explosion of stories of IMO high importance.

The Gannon/Guckert thing points right at the WH, especially in view of Armstrong Williams and the rest of the "independent" reporters and columnists the admin. has been paying or lending credence to.

The Valerie Plame/Bob Novak story also points right at the WH, in that it was obvious she was outed in retaliation, and new developments are coming out in the story regularly.

The saber rattling by Condaleeza against Iran and Syria continues to escalate, and we are IMO headed to a war against either country or both.

The "dean is a racist" card is being pulled against Howard Dean based on comments taken wholly out of context; his criticism of the GOP for marginalizing blacks is being turned into HIM being a racist...

We have to keep on top of these stories! Gannon for one never would have been exposed but for the efforts of this website, and I don't think Dean would have gotten the chairmanship without our support, either.

DU has become a powerful force for truth. BE VIGILANT. Don't let the R/W shills obfuscate the truth of our message!

1. Right on! Gotta keep the faith and keep up the effort.

Probably be a lot more defeats the victories, and what few victories we claim might be moral ones at best. But we don't do it for the sake of keeping score, we do it because it's the right thing to do. Even if no one will listen, even if it changes nothing, we stay the course because its right. Giving in or giving up is not an option, because saying and doing nothing is as wrong as that which we oppose.
