Can ya feel it?
Edited on Thu Feb-17-05 05:21 PM by Roland99
It's happening more quickly than I thought, too.

They're hanging themselves with their hypocrisy, arrogance, and bigotry. It's almost like we don't have to do much on our own, other than be persistent in pointing out their hypocrisy, arrogance, and bigotry.

The right is going to self-destruct.

Bush is suffering from a lack of support of his SS plan.
Liars and shills in the WH Press Corps.
Iraq costs ballooning.
Iraqi training flailing.
Propaganda against Syria and Iran being met with sharp criticism.

We're making a difference, folks!

5. We are the MINUTE MEN of this "revolution" We have to hold their feet
To the fire, have to be johnny on the spot with lightning reflex and a "go for the jugular" response.

The troops are those sitting behind monitors, digging, sluething. True patriots.

I'm seeing more and more critical thought being leveled at the latest Bush admin propaganda efforts.

15. The Canadian Press can teach our own a thing or two
Is Syria next to be `liberated?'
http://www.thestar.com/NASApp/cs/ContentServer?pagename=thestar/Layout/Article_Type1&c=Article&cid=1108595410998&call_pageid=970599119419

The United States has overreacted in recalling its ambassador from Syria over the assassination of the former Lebanese prime minister, Rafik Hariri.

No one precisely knows yet the real perpetrators of the heinous crime and the terrorist act that led to the death and murder of Hariri and his associates.

The move by the U.S. administration sends mixed signals as to which country is possibly next on the list to be invaded and "liberated" after Iraq.

It also shows that the United States has already made up its mind in convicting Syria of this crime.

2. I definitely agree
Anytime a group constantly claims morality as their issue only sets them up for total hypocrisy. If cons only read the bible like they claim it would be understood. I am not sure the push for Social Security is over with BUT looking at recent polls looks like the american public is not so fond of the idea and they should not be. Borrowing 2 trillion dollars is just rediculous.

8. Some one took Greenspan to the woodshed last night
and he's changed his song this morning.

An article at Reuters yesterday which said that Greenspan advised against "private accounts" has "disappeared".

Get it?

Don't you know these people by now?

4. Roland, baby, I SO agree
plus the deficit is scary, the economy still stinks, and their religious fanaticism (science classes, SpongeBob) is seen as both silly and dangerous.

6. Hell yes, I feel it
I see a light at the end of this dark, dank tunnel of Neo-Conservatism.

A friend ( former Repuke, even) said last week that he gave the populace at large one year and they would be calling for *'s head on a platter.

The hypocrisy of Gonzalez tacitly PRODUCING AND ENCOURAGING pornography at Abu Ghraib, then claiming to have some vendetta against porn, is making my blood boil over right now.

All the fucking, goddamn, bullshit they are spewing now about Syria and Iran are ringing hollow, like the setup we've already seen lead to the merciless deaths of Iraqi babies and our Servicepeople.

PRO-WAR is NOT PRO-LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These people are like classic abusers. FUCKING CLASSIC abusers. They tell you they love you while they beat the fuck out of you. The People ( aka, the abused) will wake up soon. The bruises are more visible. Their violence escalates. It's gonna get very ugly, peoples....

11. But wait Syria- Iran, Syria-Iran, Syria-Iran
Don't you remember that we saw just about the same thing 2 years ago?

Yet, with the propaganda express and the corporate news media's fear of being labled unpatriotic the best (for their nefarious purposes) they could do is go after Syria an or Iran and they know it.

The Iraq war lifted Bush's numbers quite nicely for a while and allowed a year's worth of his extemist agenda to pass.

The biggest problem is the lack of troops. Either they have to get out of Iraq or Whammo a 3rd Pearl Harbor will allow them to call for a draft.

In the meantime, the saber rattling is almost as good as war.

The only way we can fight this is to get out of our liberal groups where we hide and take what we know to the rest of the internet via chat rooms and mixed boards. Those are under heavy attack by Rove's disinformation squads.

13. Good. Then lets dump Thomas Barnett.
This blueprint for America's defense force comes wrapped in a presentation devised by Mr. Barnett that samples the "ching ching" sound effect from the television series "Law & Order," borrows lines from the Sopranos and features the voice of movie character Austin Powers calling out "Oh yeah, baby!" to punctuate a key idea. At one point, upsetting some, Mr. Barnett refers to 9/11 as the "first live-broadcast, mass snuff film in human history."
http://www.thomaspmbarnett.com/weblog/archives/000214.html

Thomas Barnett is the one planning all these wars.
He claims to be a Democrat.
He is the architect while Gonzales is the general contractor of
the House of Pain.

there was a new thread today about how Hannity was saying nice things about the Freepers. Apparently he came to appreciate that these fringe nutjobs do comprise the bulk of his listenership, lol.

16. I agree, the tide may be turning
In Bush's arrogance, he may finally have gone too far. Like in the fairy tale, once the people finally noticed the Emporer had no clothes, nothing the Emporer could do could repair the damage.
