I was at a big Baptist Church / Community leader event
that had the City Council, Chief of Police, School board president, and every other important person in town at it. Everyone! To celebrate the opening of a newly acquired building.

When the pastor stood up to spoke one of the things he said was "I'm glad I live in a country where I can stand up and say what I think and you can stand up and say what I think too." I'm sure it was a gaff but I found it quite humorous and telling.

3. I am not amused...
My sister's pastor was around this Christmas and he said, "There are two kinds of people, Republicans and people who want to become Republicans"...

:wtf:

I wouldn't want to be a republican for NOTHING! If my preacher ever did anything like that I would've stud up and shouted I was a democrat and get a life and walked out and not show up until he stopped being so biased.
