Why isn't America outraged about Bin Ladin capture failures?
Looking at today's headlines U.S., Pakistan admit bin Laden trail is cold I am just amazed at the lack of outrage with these kinds of reports. If 9/11 changed the lives of those who are living in this era, why are Americans being so excepting of the lack of ability of capturing public enemy number one?

Further more we also have this heading at the NYPost: http://www.nypost.com/news/regionalnews/42585.htm">OSAMA'S N.Y. BEAUTY, which speaks of UBL's posh cousin who is currently living in NY.

This one quote troubles me:

<<SNIP>>
Although the Saudi Binladen Group changed its name, at least when dealing with one U.S. firm after 9/11, at least a dozen Wall Street firms are still linked to the company, experts say.
<</SNIP>>

Being that my grandfather was a Holocaust survivor, I know he had difficulties through out his life purchasing anything German. Even if he knew the company may have not had any ties to Nazi Germany, his bitter association stayed with him for life.

Now we do know that the Bin Laden family is very large, and has many ties to Saudi businesses. And not all of them align with UBL. However some do. Again, I am shocked to hear about US businesses that have partnerships, with relatives that could have direct ties with 9/11 ?!?

5. HERE'S why . . .
USA kept in Pampers and pacifier while the Earth falls to the Neocons They show this pablum rather than ask important questions such as these. By showing this, it keeps the apathetic (read: NOT US ON DU) placated and satisfied.

I STILL say there's more evidence of Lancelot Link's administration having a hand in 9/11 than there was of Saddam having WMDs at any point.

8. Not thinking of the details
To capture one person who would receive protection from many supporters is difficult, and you can't immediately assume that someone did something wrong in failing to capture him.

To realize this, you need to go into further detail on what has gone on--such as how Bush waited too long to go after Bin Laden and then moved onto Iraq rather than finishing the job. Unfortuantely people don't know the specifics--they just see George Bush as someone who has been tough on terrorism.

10. To me
It seems like people aren't interested in catching Bin Laden since we need 10 Commandments in every courthouse, prevent Christ from being removed from Christmas, wory about the gay agenda and their goal of world conversion, help Evangelical goal of world conversion, receive tax cuts then pay them back a year later, and watch NASCAR.

13. Yesterday
I saw an ad on TV for the Army Reserves. It showed various people missing from their jobs or dorm rooms with captions underneath... one of the captions was "Hunting for Osama Bin Laden" I almost shit a brick! Since when are the Army Reservists doing that?

Anybody seen this ad?

16. yeah I've seen the ad on UPN
I guess there are a few. One of our neighbors put up a big sign on their front lawn for awhile saying their son was in Afghanistan (rather than Iraq), not sure of the backstory behind that one, as I'm not a person who socializes much with the neighbors.

even if it means rounding up every birdwatcher in the country.

15. The Corporate Media gives BUSH a pass
It's the Corporate Media...they set the agenda and they are being manipulated and leveraged like never before.

The media is the biggest challenge the left faces.

It is breeding apathy and helplessness in the American people.

Every liberal must boycott the corporate media.

18. If you could pry the average American
away from the remote, and ask him if we caught the guy responsible for 9/11, he'd say "Sure, we got that Saddam guy last year. Now can I go back to Fear Factor?"

The media and repukes with the help of enabler Dems have made damn sure that Americans are clueless.

The republi-thugs set the agenda in the House, the Senate, and the media. As Forrest Gump said:

20. Because citizens know in their gut it was never about OBL...
no matter the words that come out of their mouths, the actions of the President in apparantly not giving a damn about OBL except as it made for good press to advance himself reaches the subconscious of people whether they admit it or not. For folks to now acknowledge or admit the President was wrong, therefore they were wrong or duped, is to out the strength of collective denial. To face one's own denial, means having to deal with the emotions and behavior and then actually change the behavior, easier to not face it at all than grapple with all that entails coming out of the fog.
