John Gibson's words of wisdom: Gays can't have kids, so
they shouldn't be allowed to marry. What a fucking asshole.

Why is it just men and women? Because since history has been recorded, chipped in stone, inked onto papyrus, scribed into great books or printed on your ink jet, the basic idea behind marriage has been to set up a system for the raising of kids.

The first knuckle-dragging people recognized they didn't want to raise their kids like the monkeys, so they set up another system.

Gays can't have kids — other than going to the abandoned kids store and getting one or two, or borrowing sperm from someone with more sperm than brains — so by definition they're out of the marriage game.

In theory, so would couples who get married in their eighties. Chances are good that no kids come out of that holy union. But it is at least theoretically possible. Not so with gays.

2. So, if someone is sterile then they can't marry?
Their odds of having a child are just as good as a homosexual couple...

25. No! The husband must take a younger, more nubile wife.
The old one can stay on to help with the housework.

There are lots of man/woman couples who can't have kids. Should they not marry either?! And he thinks THAT'S a justification?!

7. Oh sure, it's been that way since the dawn of time
You remember all those stories in the Bible about barren women being forced to divorce from their husbands and live out their lives begging in the streets, wailing "UNCLEAN! UNCLEAN!" every time someone accidentally brushed up against them. Fortunately, God has graced us with medical technology that allows us to stop invalid, sham marriages before they start.

8. John Gibson is a Manikin like the rest of them
_
Let us be real here, John Gibson is a Jerk off, just like the rest of the Fox News Crew.

Not to say that CNN, and MSNBC manikins are any better, they are all just that, Manikins, reading what they are presented to read.

If John Gibson hadn't scored a job with Fox for the last few years and was in 'no where land' after his score with Geraldo and the OJ case, he would if offered, had taken a job for a 'Gay Channel' and sell Gay Rights Agenda if that was the only job he could get if no other jobs were available for him.

Last night, Lou Dobbs Took the night off, but ya know, You wouldn't have known it...
http://hardattacknews.blogspot.com/2005/03/lou-dobbs-takes-night-off-but-you.html

Enough is enough - and word to the wise, stop, STOP WAITING FOR ANYTHING REAL BEING PRESENTED by these networks, they are all pandering to the religious right's wives during the day, for afterall they are all home monitoring and complaining about everything, and at night, well, they are all competing with Pin Head O'Really.

CNBC - another fraud also.. I just watched 'Power Play', buy or sell certain stocks with guest analysts making their case before the bell rings, total, TOTAL RIDICULOUS BROADCASTING, on a network that is designed for investors.

This country has been taken over by Corporate Jackals that do not, do not have what is best for America on their Agenda.

My husband was planning to get a vasectomy but I suppose we'd have to get divorced if he did.

Stupid stupid stupid stupid

And what's up with this line: "or borrowing sperm from someone with more sperm than brains . . ." Why the assumption that men who donate sperm are stupid?

16. All men with a sperm count above one have more sperm than brains.
All men have one brain.

The vast majority of men -- and all sperm donors-- have millions of sperm at any given time.

So, he's right.

I have tried to watch his show for masochistic pleasure, but it's just impossible. He is almost like a parody of jingoism and anti-European sentiment.

And don't get me started on his hair and bad make-up job.

Sure, just like the virgin birth is theoretically possible.

Does anyone else find the line "other than going to the abandoned kids store and getting one or two" very insulting to adopted children?

"In theory, so would couples who get married in their eighties. Chances are good that no kids come out of that holy union. But it is at least theoretically possible."

Uh - no. I don't think there has EVER been a woman in recent history who is still menstruating in her 80s.
With the possible exception of Sarah (Abraham's wife), who bore a child in her 90s - ACCORDING TO A BIBLICAL PARABLE (the operative word here is "parable") - I don't think such a thing can naturally occur.
However, the 80-year-old woman, just like a lesbian female, could become pregnant through artificial insemination - so there is no difference - it's both artificial and producing real results.

OK - I'm rambling, but I think most of you get my point.

What a fucking idiot this Gibson is. :eyes:

22. The US Census suggests otherwise
http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0908878.html

Same-sex households with children

Male partners
Own children 21.8%
Own and/or unrelated children 22.3%

Female partners
Own children 32.7%
Own and/or unrelated children 34.3%

So, about 1 in 5 gay male couple have kids that were engendered by one of the men in the couple; and about 1 in 3 Lesbian households are the same. Aside from being a good rebuttal to this nonsense, this also a good argument for equal marriage rights because tens of thousands of innocent *children* are being denied *their* economic rights because their parents are being discriminated against.
