Will Medicaid save ANWR?
The Senate has restored budget cuts to Medicaid. The Senate will not pass the budget with these cuts present. The House will not pass the budget without even greater cuts to Medicaid.

If Medicaid sinks the budget there will be no drilling in ANWR.

2. We have to keep fighting them and make it impossible for them
to pass their creepy budget. Drilling out, CDBG grants and Medicaid in!

Its the citizens, not the corporations that matter! We have to make them realize that and vote for the citizens!

6. Am I missing something?
I have been a vegetable today but my understanding was that the Senate today REMOVED the cuts to Medicaid from the budget bill. This makes the budget bill more palatable, not less, and thus will likely pass.

If I have this wrong somebody straighten me out.

7. It IS more likely to pass in the Senate BUT
Edited on Thu Mar-17-05 09:21 PM by bowens43
the House will not pass it without the cuts. In fact , the House insists on MORE cuts then those the Senate removed.

The Senate won't pass it with the cuts and the house won't pass it without them.
