Who's for war with Iran? Loads of benefits.
Benefits
1. Control of the world's second largest oil reserves. Piles of gas too.
2. Stop Iran from messing or colluding with Iraq's government.
3. Put an end to that troublesome democracy business in the mid east once and for all.
4. Privatise Iranian and Iraqi oil and put it in responsible hands. You know what I mean by responsible.
5. Put a stop to Chinese companies developing Iranian gas fields. US companies can do a helluva lot better job, dammit.
6. Put that planned natural gas pipeline to India in the proper hands.
7. Put Japan's largest oil supplier in friendly hands.
8. Makes taking over Saudi Arabia a natural next step.
9. Ensure world oil is traded in US dollars forever and ever. As God intended.
10. Control over the economies of China, India and Europe through the control of oil, gas, and pipelines, as long as the oil lasts.
11. Put an end to the Iran-Venezuela alliance.
12. Put an end to this Russian-built nuclear reactor shit. Does the US not make nuclear reactors?
13. One more happy, grateful middle-eastern country, relieved to be freed from the yoke of oppression and see their resource potential maximised through privitisation.
14. The world will finally unite under America's divine protection and America will finally be recognised for what it is - an unselfish benefactor for all of mankind.

Well I could go on and on. Anyone who can't see the benefits is anti-American. And I haven't even got started on the benefits to Israel.

Drawbacks...none
Unless you take seriously wild speculation by American-hating wackos. Here's what those idiots say MIGHT happen. (It won't. Trust me.)

1. The Iranians will fight back like the Iraqis did. (Bullshit. No way! Impossible. Their armies will tremble before our military might. Shock and Awe. Their civilians will shower us with rose petals.)
2. The sunbeam missiles will actually work and wipe out three US carrier groups. (Har har. Overhyped. Never happen)
3. Oil shortages will result in oil skyrocketing to $200 to $500 a barrel. (Nope! And even if it did, our oil companies would make out like bandits after we privatise all ME oil.)
4. The Shiites of Iraq and Iran will join forces and drive America and her allies out of the ME forever. (We have nukes. They don't.)
5. Russia, China and India will be drawn into the war to protect their critical interests in Iran - i.e. WW3. (Never happen. These countries love us. Anyway, we got more nukes than they do.)
6. Venezuela will cut off oil shipments to the US. (nuke em)
7. The world will plunge into the worst depression in history. (So? Just invest in US oil companies.)

So there you have it. Even in the worst case scenario, which only an anti-American, unpatriotic, freedom-hating fool would buy into, the benefits still outweigh the drawbacks 14 to 7. No brainer. Case closed.
