As far as I'm concerned, when you attack evolution and modern geology, you are attacking the scientific method itself. You are not trying to attack science with better science. You are attacking science with closed minds and right wing ideology.

I think you can do just fine without modern medicine. I think you should use leeches instead.

Forget electricity, and all the devices that run off it. It's candles and washing all your own clothes by hand from now on.

No more televisions, no more watching NASCAR, or football. If you want to see it you got to see it live. And the NASCAR cars should be stripped of all electronics, and perhaps even their internal combustion engines.

No internet, no computers either.

It's time to head back to the caves, losers.

10. Having made Amish acquaintances in the past, I don't

find that they have a problem with science, but don't believe in too much modernization if they can do just as well without it and they do believe in being as self-sufficient as they can be. They couldn't do this if they were tied down to power grids and other such modernizations that we are enslaved to. Jayco RV's are built by the Amish and they are as modern as any other RVs on the market.

9. The difference between science and religion is

that science is willing to dump antiquated ideas when new research proves them false. It doesn't make science any less valid, it makes it better. Too bad our western Abrahamic religions can't do the same without a lot of upheaval before new ideas are incorporated into the religious dogma as new facts emerge and civilization progresses.
