3. Yup. Delay said this only
applies to Terri, but he's lying.

In the courts, this will be precedent. And the Dems are caving.

5. I'm disgusted!
Delay said this has to be done until she had her day in court. :wtf:

Wasn't 7 years of litigation enough??

The pig just lies and lies and lies.

8. Didn't the US Supreme Court refuse to hear it?
that should be the end then. What I want to know is why they are so interested in this particular case and not interested in the case of the baby in Texas in which the hospital decided to pull the plug. Not the parents, the hospital. In both cases neither one has (or had) much of a chance at life. In fact, probably none.

The Republicans are using this and the Dems are going along. It may set a precedenct in which Congress gets to overrule the courts anytime the y please.

6. Think bigger & broader
There might just be ammendments having nada to do with Terri, health care or anything like it. Not out of character for them to put in something like 'it's OK to drill for oil off any coast we want to'. Look for THAT kind of trouble in the fine print.

What nasty business do the neocons want and know they can't get passed on its own? There will be the list of suspects for bad ammendements nobody will read.
