That poor woman, who has really been dead for 15 years is still lying in that bed. And who knows what she would have wanted - that person is gone. It could be any of us. They DID remove Elian Schiavo's respirator, expecting her to die, but she did not, so disconnected, but still "alive" they started feeding and hydrating her.. It's a deal with the devil.. No one "wins" here except all the rightwing bloviators.. They have grabbed onto this poor woman like junkyard dogs onto a T-Bone steak..

The poor silly freepers have no facts.. they have only the fairy tale..

the woman "committed suicide" 15 years ago
she was resuscitated, (misguidedly, but with all good intentions)
after the fact, she was discovered to have irreversible brain damage".
she has lingered, at taxpayer/insurance expense for FIFTEEN YEARS.
ALL THAT COULD BE DONE FOR HER...H A S....been done.
the hub-bib over this is being driven by what drives EVERYTHING..someone is making money at her expense.. the hospital made lots of it, lawyers are making lots of it, the hospice is being paid, the pharmaceuticals used for her are not free..

would her parents care for her AT THEIR OWN EXPENSE??

they freepies claim that "killing" her is against God's will? I see nothing in the Bible about feeding tubes, breathing apparatus, extreme medical interventions. She DIED 15 years ago, and the shame of it is that her parents would be in much better mental health today if nothing had been done for her at all.

By now they would have come to terms with her death and spared everyone all the grief..
