Southerner, I should care or be concerned, in particular.

Florida isn't a "Southern" state, per se (most of the inhabitants are from other countries or from the North, other than in the panhandle). And, also, not all of those wingnuts protesting in front of the hospice are not all Southerners, either.

Last night and today there are multiple outbreaks of extreme weather including tornadoes. I merely had two ideas going in my post:
1. The weather was freaking me out.
2. I was sick of the absurd level of posting about TS. People were posting the same drivel over and over. I don't understand the attention whore spamming where every DUer feels it is necessary for them to post their very own TS observation thread when they repeat what has been posted a zillion other times.

Sorry you misunderstood. Heads up was for bad weather, nothing to do with Florida.

...we moved back to the Huntsville area in 1996. Only had to use it twice, but we were glad both times!
