Poll question: Next Terror Alert/attack?
Between Social Security and the Shaivo issue -- bush's approval numbers have dropped -- although not "officially" connected -- there are links between his polling numbers and the announcement of some sort of "terror alert"

Check out the graphs/links below -- and give us your best guess as to when we will have the next terror alert/attack?

2. There will be another diversion.
Another Schaivo. Might not be Michael Jackson, but will be something equally insane to draw the media spotlight away from the real problems facing this country.
REAGAN???? :wtf:

4. It is way too soon to manufacture another crisis like TS.
They will need to wait awhile to stir up the lunatics. I think when congress is back in session we will see another terror alert. And as a side, I would like to bitch slap the 20% of the people who think reagan was the greatest president.

5. these numbers might be even more "critical"

Congress - Job Approval Ratings
Poll Date Approve // Disapprove // Spread

RCP Average 3/7 - 3/22 Approve 37.3% Disapprove 51.7% Spread -14.3%

CBS News 3/21 - 3/22 Approve 34% Disapprove 49% Spread -15%

CNN/USA Today/Gallup 3/7 - 3/10 Approve 37% Disapprove 53% Spread -16%

AP/Ipsos-Public Affairs 3/7 - 3/9 Approve 41% Disapprove 53% Spread -12%

averages: approve 37.3% disapprove 51.6%

===============

I find these numbers more "critical" than the bush* numbers as we head into the 2006 mid-terms - especially since Congress is GOP-controlled and pretty much viewed as a rubber-stamp for the reich-winger neo-cons...

Unless GOPers figure out a way to repeal presidential term limits between now and 2008 -- bush is out the door (however - bush*'s low numbers will hurt some of his more vocal kook-aid drinkers who are running for re-selection)

Anyone have link/numbers to similar polls during Poppy Bush's regime?

6. My ESP(N) is flawed at the moment.
I can't see when the next Terra Lert is coming, but bu$hler simply must have another one to keep the sheep nervous.

As to the next Terra Tack, July Fourth would have the maximum PSYCHOlogical impact, no?

7. I bet another attack is being planned as we post...
What I think Bush's America has failed repeatedly to understand is these terrorists are not brain dead stupid individuals. Many of them are trained in the hard sciences (engineering, physics) at recognized universities. They go about designing their plots for months or perhaps years to ensure whatever they do will be effective.

I cite as an example WTC bombing in 1993. Their goal was to topple the WTC. The terrorists involved didn't plan this one very carefully because it did not do the damage they expected to happen. So it took them roughly 8 years figuring out how to topple both towers.

They're planning, folks.
