We Should Prepare Ourselves for Terri's Autopsy Report
When I heard that Michael Schiavo had agreed to an autopsy, I was very relieved-Finally the TRUTH will come out and we won't have to hear that "Culture of Life" crap any more. Then it hit me-how many times have I said that to myself and been disappointed because we all know what happens to the truth. So I'm thinking either they will get a corrupt Medical Examiner (they DO take payoffs sometimes, right Joe Scarbotough?)OR the media will spin it in some ungodly way "She could have been playing Bach concertos and doing Algebra if she lived" and "there were several "suspicious" bone fractures-Michael must have abused her and put her in that condition"
God knows the lies have really been spinning, and Hannity, Rush, etc. would all have egg on their faces-I don't se that happening! I hope my prediction is wrong, but if not- I'M JUST GOING TO GO BERSERK!!!!!!!!!!!

1. We've seen the CAT scans....I doubt anyone is going to be swapping
brains. I suspect Micheal will be very much engaged with the process to assure no games are played...

2. Well, I don't like predictions, but I think you're wrong.
There have been way too many examinations of this woman, and although I know mistakes are made all the time, but when all but one physician agrees with the diagnosis, and the one dissenter is a charlatin, I think things are pretty safe.

14. Yeah but the charlatan always gets facetime on Faux
& unfortunately that's where most of the sheeple get their "news." Hannity, O'Liely motto: "never let facts get in the way of your opinion."

3. It's all part of the theater, this will become a 20 year industry...
...Terri Schiavo, Michael, Robert and Mary Schindler, the siblings, relatives, friends, they now all belong the the media, the corporations, the churches and even the government. All are heavily invested and each will try to maximize returns. It is what America is about.

4. Dr Pellan............
Note from me...........
Dr Pellan........is highly reguarded here......he taught my daughter in her CSI class........he has class and treats bodies with the respect and dignity they deserve.......

so on to the story:.....I don't know but it sounds like someone is around the buildings there......

this is from the st.pete times:::::::::::::

William Pellan, director of forensic investigations at the Pinellas-Pasco Medical Examiner's Office, said the autopsy would become public when all tests and the final report were finished in several weeks.

Pellan read from a prepared statement saying the autopsy was mandated by Florida law and that "family requests are immaterial in that determination." The examination itself would be mostly routine, and would include a battery of X-rays and "a thorough neuropathology examination by a board-certified neuropathologist," Pellan said.

But it was clear outside the office that the autopsy was not routine. Security barriers and sheriff's deputies ringed the building, and deputies controlled access to the parking lots for the medical examiner's office and the nearby sheriff's office.

5. THE BIG PICTURE Is that she died of Anorexia

has anyone taken this opportunity to attack America's #1 skinny girl syndrome which affects more people than anyone would care to admit?

Has anyone tried to highlight the emotional dangers of a culture that tells women that weighing anything more than an anorexic amount is 'uncool'. just open any fashion magazine... you'll see lots of future Schiavos in the sense these fashion models are always one or two 'missed meals' away from the hospital.

no it's really a crime we are not talking about the substantive things about the Schiavo case, like the circumstances behind why a woman would want to starve herself....

the media cycle has digested this thing. the reich wingers are just going to have to cook up another distraction, and pronto considering they already "have egg on their face" from this.

it's okay, i saw Mehlman on c-span last nite releasing a new motto/meme "Give us a chance, we'll give you a choice". He was trying out that meme on some "Black Republicans" at Howard University. Anyway, he would often intersperse "Give us a chance, we'll give you a choice" with the recently trotted out "Culture of Life" meme.

Anyway, I think what I'm saying is that these so called conservatives trot out memes/distractions like companies put out products and advertising schemes. You should learn, as somebody opposed to these evil bastards, to not use their language. If for no other reason than because it's filthy and deceitful.

11. No that was DR. Michael Berkland

Starting July first, the Okaloosa/Walton medical examiner will be out of the job he's held the last six years.

Dr. Michael Berkland has been dismissed by the Medical Examiner's Office in Pensacola.

The Florida Medical Examiner's Commission had complained of his failure to complete dozens of autopsy reports in 2001 and 2002, a violation of state statutes.

Berkland says he performed some 320 autopsies last year and had, in the past, asked for help from the Pensacola office to handle the workload.

Chief Area Medical Examiner Dr. Gary Cumberland will temporarily take-over Berkland's duties.

12. The RW doesn't care about facts. The autopspy will no doubt
confirm Schiavo and the courts were right, but no amount of science, reason, and rationality will ever convince conservatives that she should not have been kept alive. RW'ers in charge are so confindent that they can control perception of reality that I'm sure they know there's no reason to pay off an ME.

13. If she has fractures I'm betting on her disease as being the cause.
Bone loss occurs in anorexia/bulimia. I think she had both. I read that this bone loss cannot be corrected. I knew a woman who died from a stomach disorder where she had to have all her meals via TPN (nutrition into the blood). Only thing wrong with her was she couldn't digest food suddenly in early adulthood. When she died she was so fragile her bones were breaking everytime they turned her in bed. Terri's bones were already fragile from her disease. Being bedridden could only aggravate that condition. I bet they will try to say it is proof he abused her. In truth she was abusing herself.
