After a lengthy analysis on what each sitting president did when a previous Pope died and how it affected his term, Wolf Blitzer went to the reporter outside the Vatican.
Wolf: "What's happening...there?"
Reporter: "Absolutely nothing, Wolf." "People are standing in line, back to you Wolf."
He wishes he could have got off that easy, instead he had to make whole cloth from thin air interviews. (probably wasn't easy finding English speaking mourners). The only thing more boring than standing in line, is WATCHING people standing in line.
Two days ago I saw an interview with a woman that was at a ski resort in Colorado when the Pope arrived a few years back. She didn't get to see him, but she heard he was there.
After reading DU for ten minutes, I see there ARE other news stories to cover. If anyone at CNN is praying, it's probably for a new Michael Jackson event or celeb murder.
