2. As someone who usually takes the other side

I have to admit the pie in the face stuff is funny! Been following this kinda thing for years. Didnt it start in Europe?

On the other hand I cannt imagine it being taken so lightly should some right wing loon blast Sen Boxer with a fire extinguisher or high pressure water hose as she took to the stage to give a speech. While funny, pie throwing has the long term effect of making the thrower look small, childish, unable to effectively argue his point and unwilling to let other make their own. If the target is a fool let his own words dam him.

Besides, Moe Larry and Curly were the masters of the thrown pie. Watching anyone else do it is like watching AAA baseball.

3. I don't like the pie throwing idea either.

But it is funny when it's thrown at someone you don't care about. I rather they cease all the pie throwing because you know repukes will look for payback. So far I don't think anyone that's been hit has gotten all that upset about it. Nader was cool with his, he took some of it and threw it back.:-)
