I'd like to see God make his displeasure known in a voice louder than the recently departed Pope could muster! I want fire and brimstone to rain down from on high. I want these defilers of God's fine reputation struck down with lightening. I want OLD TESTAMENT WRATH from the heavens. AN ACT OF GOD!

I think the best way to convince the Fundies that this man does not speak for God, is for God to make it quite clear himself/herself.

1. Let your voice be heard

God dwells within each of us-Elohim is the Hebrew name for It, and Holy Spirit is the Christian name. What needs to be done is for each of us to speak out. I suggest you do what I am going to do on the 24th with the national day of prayer.

I think it is very important that people of faith let the world know that the travesties being committed by liars and hypocrites do not represent all believers and that their acts are not done in our name.

God does not seem to be backing the overthrow of these corrupt earthly rulers any more than Kerry did to overturn the bogus vote in Ohio. Why is the grassroots always working their ass off to do work that could be better accomplished by someone with FAR MORE INFLUENCE?

When my husband worked in the garage at a car dealership, he was talking to what we call a "fish" lady (you know what symbol was on the back of her car) She was impressed by his honesty and willingness to help, and was commenting on his faith. He was just waiting to tell her what his faith was when he was called away by a manager.

The point is that if we live our lives by the teachings of God, even those deluded by the fundy preachers have to sit up and take notice.

God hasn't allowed anything, we the people who have the power to stop these fanatics have allowed them to take control. They prey on the weak minded, the elderly, the gullible, and instead of pointing this out, we allow it to happen.


Besides God like Lucifer cannot direclty intervene, that's why we have free will. God has already given us the abilities we need to fight against the fanatics who use his word, not for his glory but for their own personal gain.

We know who are the true enemies of God, Fallwell, Robertson, Bob Jones, Franklin Graham, Jimmy Swaggert, all of the organizations that make a big deal about a cartoon sponge, or who are now trying to stop a vaccination that may help to prevent cervical cancer.

But most importantly, we know that those men and the groups are alos the true enemies of all freedom loving Americans. So you see God has done something, he has shined the light on all the roaches, now it's up to us to exterminate them.
