2. Nixon and Reagan both apologized for actions of "overzealous" aides
Reagan got away with it. Nixon didn't.

8. This administration has been having problems with

3. Nope
Even on the most clear issue, African American Civil Rights, they largely claim to have been on the right side of taht issue (despite all the evidence to the contrary). They can't admit mistakes becuase they are punk-ass punks.

7. You won't hear an apology either.
To do so, admits being wrong.

Let's just start calling them the "Wrong Party", those on the "Wrong side of the aisle", and just generally replace the word "Right" with "Wrong" when referring to the Cons.

9. Bush said recently that paying Armstrong Williams and others was wrong
However the White House has stonewalled attempts to get to the bottom of the payola scandal and has been uncooperative in revealing any information that would explain who approved and knew about or promoted the payola to 'journalists'.

When forced to explain some 'misguided' incidents involving his staff or other Repubs, Bush has expressed disapproval but his insincerity and hypocrisy is evident in each case because he does nothing to correct the situation and allows the coverup and stonewalling (such as with the Plame leak) to continue.

10. Consoviets don't believe in apologies
Just explanations and rationalizations; and, if you don't accept it and move on, then they expect an apology from you.
