What's the deal with the National ID Act...listening to AAR RR said it
passed but didn't say where it passed...Did a search but could not locate the info.

9. Try HR 418 or Real ID
It is a truly horrendous bill. A few of us have posted on it here to try to rally support against it.
You can search for those posts.
Also, Rawstory and truthout have had articles on it.
Conyers has an update on his blog since it will be sent back to House to reconcile with Senate version.
