Finger suspect's spouse arrested
Las Vegas police Wednesday arrested the husband of the woman who said she found a finger in her Wendy's chili.

Authorities in San Jose, Calif., said the charges against Jaime Plascencia were unrelated to the investigation into the finger case.

Plascencia, 43, was arrested on a warrant charging him with identity theft, fraudulent use of official documents and four counts of failing to pay child support, San Jose police spokeswoman Gina Tepoorten said.

He was booked at the Clark County Detention Center after being arrested at the home of his wife, Anna Ayala, she said.
