Larry Flynt nails Bolton over divorce (forced sex, wife fled in fear)
Edited on Wed May-11-05 02:34 PM by wicket
OMG, Larry Flynt does it again!!!!

http://rawstory.com/exclusives/byrne/larry_flynt_bolton_511

The controversial Hustler Magazine publisher Larry Flynt has waded into the conflict surrounding the nomination of Bush hawk John Bolton to a UN post by revealing Bolton's divorce records and unanswered questions about his sexual past, RAW STORY has learned.

The following release was issued early this afternoon. RAW STORY will provide more details as they become available. We will be publishing excerpts of the Bolton divorce record shortly.

The records show that Bolton's wife left him during a trip to Vienna in two weeks in 1982 and never returned. The records further show that she took most of the couple’s furniture.

###

From Mr. Flynt's release:

Corroborated allegations that Mr. Bolton’s first wife, Christina Bolton, was forced to engage in group sex have not been refuted by the State Department despite inquires posed by Hustler magazine publisher Larry Flynt concerning the allegations. Mr. Flynt has obtained information from numerous sources that Mr. Bolton participated in paid visits to Plato’s Retreat, the popular swingers club that operated in New York City in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

“The first Mrs. Bolton’s conduct raises the presumption that she fled out of fear for her safety or, at a minimum, it demonstrates that Mr. Bolton’s established inability to communicate or work respectfully with others extended to his intimate family relations,” said Mr. Flynt. “The court records alone provide sufficient basis for further investigation of nominee Bolton by the Senate.” These court records are enclosed here as an attachment. Mr. Flynt continued, “The U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations must be free of any potential source of disrepute or blackmail.”

Mr. Flynt has contacted the State Department asking that they confirm or deny the allegations of Mr. Bolton’s prior conduct concerning his wife and the alleged paid visits to Plato’s Retreat. He has also called upon the Senate Foreign Relations Committee to conduct an inquiry into the very serious evidence concerning his first wife’s fear of him.

Edited on Wed May-11-05 01:37 PM by Triana
Does he still have callouses on his knuckles from where they dragged the ground when he came out of the cave, if he ever DID come out of the cave? What a pr*ck! What a bullying, hotheaded, arrogant, chest-thumping ape!

We want THAT representing us in the UN? I don't *think* so!

32. Perhaps Antonin Scalia fished out the "keys."
http://www.guardian.co.uk/usa/story/0,12271,1317386,00.html

Orgies are the way to ease social tensions, claims US judge

Oliver Burkeman in New York
Friday October 1, 2004

He is the conservative bastion of the US supreme court, a favourite of President Bush, and a hunting partner of the vice-president. He has argued vociferously against abortion rights, and in favour of anti-sodomy laws.
But it turns out that there is another side to Justice Antonin Scalia: he thinks Americans ought to be having more orgies.

Challenged about his views on sexual morality, Justice Scalia surprised his audience at Harvard University, telling them: "I even take the position that sexual orgies eliminate social tensions and ought to be encouraged."

It seems unlikely that this is what President Bush meant when he promised to appoint more judges like Scalia to the court, should the opportunity arise. Crucially, Justice Scalia is one of the judges in favour of overturning Roe v Wade, the landmark judgment protecting abortion as a constitutional right.

...it's this little "My woman, my property-how dare she refuse me" issue. Which is what Fristians and RW hypocrites really mean when they talk about "sanctity of marriage."

Divorce is fine with them too if it's a man wanting to trade in his old wife for a newer model.

A hell of a lot of people were snorting cocaine and screwing up a storm. Snortin' and comin', snortin' and comin'...all that seemed to go on. It was amazing that anything got accomplished.

Seek the archives for a piece I wrote called "Cocaine Ethics". I feel that the piece, although rough, does explain a lot of what is happening now.

Right?

Frankly, I don't see that this will make one whit of difference. The RW will just cry 'politics of personal destruction' by a porn merchant in league with the Democrats. They'll probably even compare Bolton's plight to Clinton's, and throw the 'personal life has no bearing on professional life' card.

The reports say that he FORCED his wife to participate in group sex. This is RAPE and the minute that they try to say that rape is a personal matter we need to make them explain why Bolton should not be able to judge Bolton on the basis of him being a rapist.

134. Democrats just like lotsa sex
Sometimes kinky, sometimes just nice good ol' sex and they aren't ashamed by it.

Republicans also like sex, but are ashamed of it, hide it, repress it, and it surfaces in really perverse ways like Mule mating and forcing wives into orgies. For Bolton though, I really believe it is about power, like most sex crimes - little to do about sex and much to do about the person's view of himself and his own psychotic behavior.

160. Hiding & repress is the big lie
Just like a republican mayor in Spokane WA!
It would be better to elect an honest person who admitted he was a murderer than a person who hides continually behind a wall of lies and cheating to continue a mass murderous regime and always saying that it is all caused by abortion, gays, anti-xtians, anti-family, or any others!
They will never willingly allow truths to come out, about republican or democrat personal lives! They believe rightly to some extent that the pot won't call the kettle black but they are going to be outed by the thousands who have fought so hard to be out of power controlled lives: wives, children, mothers, fathers, siblings, partners, etc.
If they would give some thought to all the thousands of monica types (male & female) they will begin to come clean or find a stronger, deeper, closet.
The honest democrat, liberal to conservative, should at least admit that freedom extends to all who can be truthful and, as example, open gays and lesbians do get elected and are responsible citizens!

the more thrilling it is to break it. As long as it's kept in the closet, that is. I would have liked to know what French philosopher Georges Bataille (author of such fascinating works as "Visions of Excess", "Death and Sensuality", and the "Tears of Eros") would have had to say about this.

....update!

"Corroborated allegations that Mr. Bolton’s first wife, Christina Bolton, was forced to engage in group sex have not been refuted by the State Department despite inquires posed by Hustler magazine publisher Larry Flynt concerning the allegations. Mr. Flynt has obtained information from numerous sources that Mr. Bolton participated in paid visits to Plato’s Retreat, the popular swingers club that operated in New York City in the late 1970s and early 1980s."

How will the republican supporters of John Bolton's nomination respond to these revelations? "Mr. Chairman, John Bolton may not be allowed an up and down vote on his nomination, but I think he deserves an in and out, in and out, in and out vote".

The gold standard of kinky clubs in the 70s.

Buck Henry was a regular - didn't he write about the club for Playboy?

So was Al Goldstein, whose Screw Magazine went bankrupt and who has ended up homeless, most recently working as a greeter at NYC's Second Avenue Deli.

I imagine all kindsa living-at-the-edges folks are pointing at Bolton and claiming him as one of their own.

"One of us! One of us! We accept him, gooble gobble! One of us! One of us!

PS: Bless you, Mr. Flynt!

60. Swinger Stone Frequented The Vault -He Participated In 2000 Florida Mob
Edited on Wed May-11-05 02:55 PM by cryingshame
by organizing it... so he & Bolton both participated in that travesty back in Florida and they're both swingers.

And yes, it was Stone's wife who may have been the Cuban who posed as "Lucy Ramirez" and was the source of the fake Memo about Bush.

"Then it all came out in 1996, while helping to run Bob Dole's campaign, that Roger Stone and his wife were "swingers," and that they both had placed an ad in several swingers magazines seeking out muscular men to come over and bang Stone's wife while he watched. There then surfaced a picture or Roger Stone photographed at a swingers party wearing nothing but a thong and a dog collar. "

106. Roger Stone and the Doles....has anyone seen Liddy Dole's photo's
recently? And, does anyone wonder why Bob Dole advocated Viagra?

Liddy has had so many surgeries she's looking like Phyllis Diller and Bob has had some nips and tucks, too.

Aren't those two getting kind of freaky? What all have they been into?

Big buddies with the Bushies: Poppy/Babs...were around when all that pedophilia stuff was reported in the 80's in the Washington "Moonie"Times, and now the Bushies are back and we have "Jimmy Jeff" and lots of other odd things popping up here and there.

The Sex Network in DC must be HUGE! And, sadly I think some of our Dems have played around in it too. Probably are being blackmailed, and maybe some were enticed and set up with photo's even if they weren't actually in the "inner circle" of it. :-(

I have come to expect every single GOP hack to also be a hypocritical pervert. Shilling for these neocon wingnuts requires you to repress a lot of feelings, which will invariably come out in the bedroom.

30. the sad thing, however,
will be if THIS is the thing that derails him... given the record of failure in his position (eg nuclear proliferation has accelerated under his watch)... his record of subverting his superiors... his record of trying to taint intelligence... his record of abuse of power over employees... and his overall unfitness as a diplomat (NKorea would NOT return to talks until they were guaranteed that Bolton would not be participating... AND Great Britain forced Bolton out of talks with Libya per getting rid of nuke materials and aspirations - as Bolton was threatening the ability to negotiate with Libya to resolve the situation).

Frankly, it is frightening to me that REAL concerns would be overlooked due to Admin arm twisting.... but that this type of embarassment could be the thing to turn the tide. In the big picture - it is small potatos among reasons to deny him the UN post. Serious, yes. More serious per the specific post - than all of the above that he has done that has put the whole country's security at risk? No.

Everyone knows that any bad behavior by a Republican male under age 40 is a youthful indiscretion.

Nothing will derail him unless Bush/Rove lets it. If he's viewed as a liability this story is a handy way to send him off, rather than admitting to his severely limited diplomatic skills.

But I too would prefer he be taken out of contention for this reason than to have him represent our country.

This could be the thing that FINALLY gets the attention of the public (quite frankly, I'll be happy if ANYTHING does and I don't much care what it is), but there is a growing dissatisfaction with Bush even among his supporters, and if just one thing--ANYTHING!--starts to get some public scrutiny, all the rest of the shit will follow on its heels. Then the whole rotten PNAC agenda and the perverts who run it will be exposed the whole world to see, and better yet, for the whole USA to see. The rest of the world is on to them already.

101. More neokkkon "MORALITY"?
"The Issue Bush Won on in 2004 was morality!" That's what the headlines said! That's what the top GOPer talking heads on every talk show and in every newspaper were spouting!

Just think about how hard the Bushwhackers sit back and laugh at people like the Baptist Preacher in North Carolina and all the other hand wringing church goers, who have been totally SUCKED IN and made FOOLS of, by the neocons! God is just a chess piece in the dirty game of dirty politics to the Bush Gangsters! The GOPers will say OR do anything it takes to win! Lying and Cheating is just part of their greedy game! It's all about fooling the foolish!

We need to call these neocon criminals to account on every MORAL issue, like they once did to Bill Clinton! When I think about the smug, sickening, right wing rats in congress pressing home their attack on Bill Clinton during the impeachment process, it's all I can do to keep from barfing! Think of the great fun Hyde, Hatch and Sessions, to name just a few, had ruining Mr. Clinton in front of the whole world! I keep remembering how the GOPers all stressed that "NO ONE IN AMERICA IS ABOVE THE LAW!" Turns out that now every GOPer crook in Washington is "ABOVE THE LAW!"

"MORALITY" URASS!

Now here's hoping Olbermann and/or Jon Stewart pick up on it and then it becomes fodder for the late night comedy shows and into the public that way. This is how it used to work.

Alas, it's proabably too little, too late, but any angst we can create for these assholes makes this travesty a tad more tolerable.

That's one thing the Slugs haven't figured out or are too stupid to grasp. If you play with fire, chances are that sooner or later someone is going to get burned. They fanned the flames of the politics of personal destruction and now it's coming back to haunt them. And it will, again and again. These people have no more morals than an alley cat, but to hear them talk you'd think they were god's chosen party. They're hypocrites, rank and file hypocrites.

Once you've squeezed the toothpaste tube it's hard to get it back in. They want to use the "Nuke-you-ler" option and throw away the filibuster. Do they think they're going to be in power forever? Well, maybe, with the help of Diebold. They don't think, they're too stupid to be on power. They truly are. REPUBLICANS ARE TOO STUPID TO BE IN POWER! :banghead:

The guy can be as vicious as he wants as long as it's all about the work. That kind of behavior can be explained away by things like, "He may be gruff and a bit of a bully, but he does what's right for the country."

Participating in group sex, wife abuse, including forcing her to have group sex...this goes straight to his character. pResident "Moral Values" Bush will have a hard time standing by Bolton if this picks up any steam at all. And I think it will.

Heh...Bolton will have to think of something other than the usual "I'm leaving to spend more time with my family" excuse when he drops out.

159. I can give the spin before it even starts
that is, if it starts because I don't believe this will ever get any where NEAR a corporate media outlet.

But it will be spun thusly:

If Dems hadn't empowered women then this uppity bitch would have known her place in life is to service and please her husband. This will be a non-issue because they were married and everyone knows that women are expected to "obey" their husbands in all things - including all of his sexual desires.

I'm surprised there's no mention of this article from The Nation in light of this Bolton thing. http://www.thenation.com/doc.mhtml?i=20050530&s=mcgarvey

Dr. Hager's Family Values

With the autumn sunlight streaming through the stained-glass windows, Hager opened his Bible to the Old Testament Book of Ezekiel and looked out into the audience. "I want to share with you some information about how...God has called me to stand in the gap," he declared. "Not only for others, but regarding ethical and moral issues in our country."

For Hager, those moral and ethical issues all appear to revolve around sex: In both his medical practice and his advisory role at the FDA, his ardent evangelical piety anchors his staunch opposition to emergency contraception, abortion and premarital sex. Through his six books--which include such titles as Stress and the Woman's Body and As Jesus Cared for Women, self-help tomes that interweave syrupy Christian spirituality with paternalistic advice on women's health and relationships--he has established himself as a leading conservative Christian voice on women's health and sexuality.

...

Up on the dais, several men seated behind Hager nodded solemnly in agreement. But out in the audience, Linda Carruth Davis--co-author with Hager of Stress and the Woman's Body, and, more saliently, his former wife of thirty-two years--was enraged. "It was the most disgusting thing I've ever heard," she recalled months later, through clenched teeth.

According to Davis, Hager's public moralizing on sexual matters clashed with his deplorable treatment of her during their marriage. Davis alleges that between 1995 and their divorce in 2002, Hager repeatedly sodomized her without her consent. Several sources on and off the record confirmed that she had told them it was the sexual and emotional abuse within their marriage that eventually forced her out. "I probably wouldn't have objected so much, or felt it was so abusive if he had just wanted normal sex all the time," she explained to me. "But it was the painful, invasive, totally nonconsensual nature of the sex that was so horrible."

86. Keep some perspective, friends...
when we talk about who is fit to represent our country...after all, we already have Paul Wolfowitz at the World Bank, Rumsfield at Defense, Lap-Dog Condi at State, and of course The Chimp himself mis-representing us! Even if Bolton turns out to have a slimey personal life in addition to his feable diplomatic skills, what makes us think that the next nomination for U.N. ambassador will be any better. One thing we can do is make the rest of the world aware of what's coming...not that they don't do a much better job of finding out themselves...keep it front and center, email your friends in other countries...keep all these indiscretions and horrible policies out there for the world to see...it may not help us here in the states much, but maybe it will help the rest of planet earth.

88. WOW... I just remembered a story from FairFax VA circa 1986...
I was living in the area and an avid reader of the WaPo.

There was a couple that was into the "Swingers" scene in NoVa that were 'sleeper spies' (pun intended) for, I believe, the Soviet Union. When discovered there was a great bruhaha - as it was said that they had swapped with some very well connected folks.

Same era, same predilication... wouldn't that be something... wish I could remember their names...

I find this (and get the name: Koecher)

From: http://64.233.187.104/search?q=cache:Wyc1NIrCbUoJ:www.combat-diaries.co.uk/diary25/diary25chapter12.htm+wife+swap+couple+northern+virginia+spies&hl=en

snip:

JERROLD BROWN AND KARL KOECHER
In 1984 Brown worked on the case of Karl and Hanna Koecher. Karl Koecher was a Czech Intelligence Service (STB) officer who had the distinction of being the only deep-penetration agent placed within the CIA. Koecher orchestrated a fake defection, and arrived in the U.S. from Czechoslovakia, in transit from Austria. He became a naturalized United States citizen, and applied for a post at the CIA in April 1972. After passing a polygraph test, Koecher was hired by the CIA in February 1973 as a translator. With his wife, Hana, Koecher attended sex orgies and wife-swapping parties in Washington and New York. At the parties, Hana Koecher, also a Czech Intelligence Service officer, would take on four to five men at the same time. Many of the party goers were fellow CIA employees who swamped classified information as well as sex with the popular couple. The Koechers also frequently the S & M Hell Fire Club and the partner-swapping Plato's Retreat. He supplied the KGB with information which caused Alekandr Ogorodnik, a key CIA asset in Moscow, to commit suicide after his apprehension by the KGB. Ogorodnik used CIA-supplied poison hidden in a fountain pen to commit suicide. For more than 20 months, ANGLETON was unable to detect Koecher's presence within the CIA. Author Ronald Kessler interviewed ANGLETON in April 1987, and brought up the subject of Koecher. ANGLETON showed no interest in the case. In 1982 a Czech working for the FBI turned Koecher in. The FBI followed him for two years without developing enough evidence to prosecute him. Just before the Koechers were about to move to Austria, Jerry Brown, and other intelligence officers, talked him into confessing by telling him that he was going to be doubled, which was simply untrue. Kessler reported: "Fierer asked Geide about Brown's statement that the couple would be free to go about their business. Did he tell Koecher that was untrue?

---

Wonder if John with a coerced Christine ever crossed paths with Karl and Hanna?

Same time period, same geographic area of "swapping/swinging". Same club. Can't remember what John was doing in the mid-seventies through early eighties. Any stint in the CIA, or in circles likely to intermingle with CIA folk?

Just asking...

Didn't he expose some Republicans in congress of having extra marital affairs during the whole Monica Gate debacle?
He's great at exposing the assholes who claim high morality as being the total scumbags they really are.

that's necessary for our lying corporate fascist administration now in power, to get more power (and riches) worldwide.

Bolton is perfect for the Bush/Cheney/Rove machine. He lies, he will change any & all information necessary to further the corporate oil agenda.

He despises the other nations of the world and is very arrogant about it.

YES, Bolton is the perfect man for the UN job (representing BushCo.) Bolton will be confirmed.

The republicans run the show...

Thank you electronic voting machines.

And where are the records to back up the forced group sex claim? The fact that the allegations have not been refuted by the State Department is insufficient.

Love him or hate him (and no doubt Bush's Duck Soup Posse and the rest of the Banana Republican Party hate him), Larry Flynt has quite a knack for finding out corroborated dirt about politicians.

The entertaining thing will be watching the very same Republicans and Kon-servatives who howled so loudly about l'affair Lewinsky and its effect on propriety screaming about how John Bolton's private morality was none of their business.

He will probably withdraw his nomination, claiming a "nanny issue."

What I want to know though is, why are they calling his activities there "paid visits"? Was he paid to go there? By whom? Would that not make him essentially a prostitute (in addition to a rapist)?
