A chink in the armor of the Hard Right

During my research to make a super boycott (an embargo, if you will) of the RW, I had discovered that only 5 groups fund the RW. These groups are:

Coors
The Tobacco Industry
Oil Companies
Pharmaceutical Companies
Private Donors such as Richard Mellon Scaife

Actions against the 3 lower ones will be kind of tricky, but the two top ones are great places to begin to attack the RW.

We need to bring back a boycott of Coors, there used to be a very big boycott of them, and I don't know why it ended. Coors still supports homophobic candidates and groups.

The Tobacco Industry makes 95% of it's donations to Republicans. Here we might try to support Anti-Tobacco groups and at the risk of sounding Non-Liberal (if this can be considered Non-Liberal), we might want to try supporting Tobacco Control Legislation. You might also want to kick the habit if you are a smoker.

This is how it can be done, we can beat the Hard Right that is taking over everything, and it begins with a boycott of Coors and Tobacco.

2. Boycotting Coors will be easy

They produce piss-water beer. I have never smoked so the tobacco industry will be easy as well although you have to watch out for all those other companies in which the two above mentioned companies have investments.

Coors Lite. Dark Coors. Whatever. It's horrible.

And Pete Coors gives me the creeps too. Every time I see him on TV he reminds me of the clean cut TV weatherman in Atlanta who turned out to be a child molester (back in the '80's).

5. all too true about the tobacco companies: they've bought all sorts of

other companies, and they've long used this to intimidate the media -- if they run hostile news stories about tobacco or the tobacco companies, they're liable to lose advertising from companies like Kraft Foods that the tobacco companies own. You can be god-damned certain the American people are not getting the information they need about the dangers of smoking (and many other subjects) due to corporate pressure. The result of this is that Americans think smoking is "bad for you" but they have little idea of just how bad: The average smoker loses 12 years of life-expectancy smoking. A two-pack-a-day smoker loses 20 years!
